Re: Season Tickets 20/21
Would be interesting to understand how football clubs all survived the 2nd World War. I think that football was effectively closed for 5 years at least but not many clubs folded as far as I can see. Did they just close down completely, mothball the stadiums and restart after the war? Could learn som...

Re: Season Closuer Nearer
Right decision has been made, no one deserves to go up or down for an incomplete season. I really can’t see at this stage the new season starting on time in August let alone games being played to complete this one. I think you are right on both counts but Scotland seem to have set some kind of prec...

Re: Season Closuer Nearer
As I understand it, the main reason for the National Leagues to make a decision at this point is so that they can end contracts on 30th April, as is usual in non league, so that they don't have to pay players throughout the summer. This definitely applies to the part time clubs and would also be app...

Re: Non League Football cancelled at Steps 5/6
How about finish this season, then have a shorter summer break and cancel all domestic cup competitions next season to make up for the lost time? Just not sure how that’s possible. Social distancing will last for 6 months according to the CMO yesterday. That rules out even training until October. T...

Re: Non League Football cancelled at Steps 5/6
Football is done for this season. Whether they should call it null and void is another matter but so far the whole of non league football has gone that way and it's only March. The National Leagues will follow in the next couple of weeks and then the EFL. Even the entitled twats in the Premier Leagu...

Imagine the size of our gate for the first home game back next season - reckon we might break 1500! :-)

Re: Finishing the season
Hmmm. I think that when you look at the bigger picture ie. massive number of dead people, global economic disaster, companies going bust left right and centre, NHS meltdown, huge unemployment (including many of their own fans) etc. the 2019-20 football season will be well and truly forgotten about b...

Re: National League meeting
Their figures say a 1% mortality rate with a worst case scenario of 80% of the population catching the virus. That equates to around 50,000 deaths. Mr Leopard - the population of the UK is 67 million. 80% of that is 53 million and 1% of that is 530,000 (half a million people) - This ain't no common...

Re: National League meeting
It’s all a bit pointless now. The peak is expected in the next few weeks so at that point the league will end anyway. I suspect that tomorrow will be the last games of the season as I believe most non league clubs don’t pay players through the summer so no chance of extending the season beyond April...

Re: AFC Fylde
Excitement about the new manager or not, you can't excuse how few clear cut chances we created compared with the number of forwards we had on the pitch. I don't think I'm going to renew next year. This season has been so dull We got ourselves in good positions to deliver crosses to create chances f...

Re: Taking On The Shots
Pretty flat first half but Darryl’s brave decision to yank Reid seemed to shake things up and the change up front was inspired. Sam Deering was magnificent again - so much energy. Could be our best signing for ages.

When are the FA going to decide how many go down?
It really is squeaky bum time now and the sooner we know if 4th bottom means relegation the better. Why are the FA making such a f***ing meal of this? Just tell us you morons.

No - usually we are crap and miss the opportunity to bring in new fans. Let’s hope that changes tomorrow. In Darryl we trust
