Re: NL: Rochdale (H) 25 November 2023
What we serve up to the ever-depreciating home support base is beyond a disgrace. Now a league-high 8 defeats from 11 at the ground we were supposed to make a fortress, yet is the easiest place to go to instead. Irrespective of whatever happens in the game, the opposition will always have enough to ...

Re: NL: Ebbsfleet United (A) 28 October 2023
For the second Saturday in succession, Daggers' final throw of the dice came off.
It was far from pretty, but showcasing an ability to grind out wins from such scrappy battles like this is important.

Re: FA Cup: Bracknell Town (A) 14 October 2023
An FA Cup upset was a disastrous prospect on top of existing league woes, but one Dagenham sleepwalked into with an abysmal performance on Saturday.

Re: NL: Oldham Athletic (A) 7 October 2023
That's the best half of football I've seen us produce for many months. We were camped in and around their box for large portions of it, often keeping the ball for sustained periods while Oldham were left chasing shadows. Vincent, Hessenthaler and Rees were exceptional at winning it back too, with th...

Re: NL: FC Halifax Town (A) 26 September 2023
After nine straight defeats there dating back to 2003, a point at the Shay made for a pleasing change. Detached from the above historics, though, Daggers will be frustrated not to have taken all three.

Weston went off injured about a fortnight ago while on international duty. Nothing serious according to Strevens, who also said that Effiong returned to training recently.

Re: NL: FC Halifax Town (A) 26 September 2023
Can't knock a point here of all places but all three were definitely for the taking. Ultimately, though, 0-0 was a rightful reflection of two poor, lower mid-table calibre sides that are completely toothless in attacking areas. We worked our way into a few but there was never a feeling we would make...

Re: NL: Hartlepool United (H) 23 September 2023
Copy and paste - a torturous re-anactment of their midweek defeat saw Dagenham suffer another in similar fashion, with attacking impotence allowing visitors Hartlepool their first clean sheet in 28.

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023
Frustrating night. You can count on one hand the amount of times they got into our box, but one chance was all they needed and if you replay the game ten times it would end the same way every single one because we have absolutely nothing up top. We were tidy everywhere across the pitch except where ...

Re: NL: Chesterfield (A) 9 September 2023
A really tough one to take. They were always going to dictate the play throughout but, until the critical sending off, we had them exactly where we wanted them and maybe even could have sprung a second on the counter attack. Not sure about the red card, Tavares was covering over on the far side but...

๐ด๐ต An afternoon that turned disastrous in an instant, when Daggers lost a man then their lead in quick succession, before all remaining resolve crumbled in stoppage time as a galvanised Chesterfield smelt blood. โช๏ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/chesterfield-3-dagenham-r...

Re: NL: AFC Flyde (H) 2 September
Daggers exuded real confidence in registering their third consecutive victory, exploiting Fylde's extremely porous backline at will.

Re: NL: AFC Flyde (H) 2 September
When Fylde cut our winning margin to just one when it ought to have been three or four towards the end of the half, I feared the worst and certainly they put it on us for a few minutes upon the restart, but we reasserted control tremendously for a thoroughly deserved win. One of those performances w...
