Re: Shameless Plug

I will do one of these tonight, looks like good idea. Goresbrook have done amazing things as a club in last 20 odd years and produced a number of good players. Always good blokes to play against and always play the game in the right spirit, I would urge any local cricket fans to support this!! Their...

Re: Player of the season.

Interesting Jam as I have seen 25 odd games this Year and off top of head can't remember Howells being at fault directly for any goals.

Meanwhile you have gone for someone directly at fault for the last goal we conceded ironically.

Everyone sees things differently I guess.

Re: Maidstone

First half Sparkes put two very dangerous balls in. Second half maybe not so much. Boucs movement lessened even more after that tackle but he was blowing before that to be fair.

Re: Player of the season.

Cousins, Robson, Boucs, Fejiri, Howells. Take three from that 5 I would say.

Re: Maidstone

Nice and positive DtD, that's what we need. I thought it was decent game and good performance, enjoyed it. Always interesting how people see things differently I suppose. I thought Sparkes had his best game for us, Boucs was good although I wouldn't have given him MOM. I would have given it to Nunn ...

Re: Just out of interest...

Is an interesting point redboy and one that effects many clubs at different levels in different ways. If you take all the London Clubs in the top two divisions for instance. How many of them have the majority of their traditional core support living near the Club itself?? If you take West Ham as an ...

Re: How Much Money Do the Club Need

I think the number is probably constantly evolving, that's why they can't say straight up what the amount is, as it could change at five minutes notice?? Obviously a budget was worked out on expected income and expenses. There was a shortfall. Hopkin was funding the shortfall. Lets say it was £10k a...

Re: New club auction for signed Swansea City shirt.

These are being done by the club themselves, so I think the best bet would be:

commercial@daggers.co.uk

Nice touch from Robbo and the Swansea lads to arrange. Lets hope it raises a few 100 quid.

Re: £250k

John McKenna, there's a blast from the past "NO FOOUULLL"

If I remember rightly a few travelled down from up North at that time. I think Cav was from the North West as well.

Re: £250k

The £250k was banded about at the start of all this. Since the figure first came to light there has been a reduction in wage bill (5 players leaving), income from sales of some of those (although small), last night's income (I would imagine minimum £50k in the end) and other donations and things I w...

Re: Save the daggers - game v West Ham

Great post Triple Scarf and glad you enjoyed the evening. I spoke to a few West Ham fans last night and this morning and all said they enjoyed it. Hopefully there will be a few who come back for a few more games. I am not a West Ham supporter (I don't support anyone at that level) but all my mates a...

Re: Save the daggers - game v West Ham

Well I thoroughly enjoyed that!! The first 65 mins were a decent game of football I thought, and we played some decent stuff. But the attendance and the occasion were what it was all about, and I imagine we have made a few bob and that the finances will have exceeded the initial expectations Well do...

Re: Save the daggers - game v West Ham

Have to say, West Ham (through their website) are really pushing the game tonight which is great, fair play to them. There are several pieces on the site which mention the game in the title of the articles and a couple of good pieces with Steve Potts and the new lad they have signed, Hugall. Moyes a...
