Re: Tamplin Watch
Doesn’t look good for them if all this is true. Would find it hard to have he cars he has though and not get done for speeding all those times.

Re: Out of interest... away kit
Had no idea about this either... Yellow as an away kit has usually been what I like (although the black stripes one I thought was awful). But now I think I would like to see another white one. Something with a collar too.

Re: Barrow (a)
Beating any team that contains that arse Grant Holt is always good. Well done the boys. Sounded like Cousins provided the goods again at times too. Rather coincidentally, I was in a cab last night and after I told the driver that Dagenham were pissing this league, the cabbie told me that his mate’s ...

Re: Half season player ratings
Would not say Robson has been having a better season than Boucaud, nor would I say that Cheek has been better or is performing at the same level as Ferrier. Feel like Cousins stands alone in being our best player this season so far, so I wouldn't have Ling given the same rating. N'gala is also about...

Re: Chester (a)
Corey on his off streak is still better than Romain. He still creates things and as shown today he puts in a shift in defence that the likes of Ferrier and Fejiri don’t. For me it seems like he’s been off form since we started playing him out wide. He plays so much better when he’s a 10 with two wid...

Re: ULTIMATE TAMPLIN / ALL THINGS BILLERICAY THREAD
Looks like things have started to go pear-shaped already. Captain Konchesky has left the club today to pursue “other commitments”.

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
I don’t think a single person is surprised by it. Almost every team to come here this season has looked to run down the clock. All fans get angry at it as it’s outside of the spirit of the game and is practically unplayable if the referee won’t stop it, whereas holding the ball in the corner is smar...

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
How we went 2-0 down was beyond me. They really weren’t a good side at all. But to get back from 2-0 down against any side in this league is an achievement and our players should be bloody proud of it. They clearly didn’t want/know how to play football and it makes it so hard to get back into the ga...

2-0 Cheek with both. Can’t afford to be dropping points in games like these.

Re: The BBC Price of Football 2017 survey.
Good to see that across all leagues prices are being frozen but there is still work to do. Especially for young people, which an article on the BBC highlights really well. I feel like I go on about it loads but we should be constantly thinking of new ways to bring in younger fans and keep them comin...

Re: Corey Whiteley loss of form
Whitely’s form might be about to change. Already has a hat trick and one assist against QPR U23s and it’s not even half time. Hopefully this gives him confidence to go on and do it in the league again.

Re: Corey Whiteley loss of form
Didn’t say he needs wrapping in cotton wool. Clearly said he needs to learn to ignore itARNU wrote:The most cutting comment I've seen made is he's hit a bout of low form that's all. Which he has..I don't see why we have to wrap some players in cotton wool and we can totally slate others .

Re: Corey Whiteley loss of form
He just seems to be so low on confidence and doesn’t look like he’s enjoying himself right now. I feel like the criticism and the high expectations we all have for him doesn’t help, but fans will always be like that so he needs to learn how to ignore it, if that is the case of course. Think it’s wor...

Re: Maidenhead
Fey didn’t look too bad when coming on against Macclesfield. Almost had a great scoring opportunity if he wasn’t hacked down just outside the box. I’d happily see him replace Whitely.
