Re: NL: Rochdale (H) 25 November 2023
I was behind it and felt he could have dived or put a hand out. Looks from that twitter clip he may have had a view. Maybe not. He didn't have much to do again yesterday except get the ball out of his net twice. Oh and hoof the ball to lazy Effiong. Anyway I've calmed down now.... But we are awful ...

Justham should have saved it hahaha, clueless. https://x.com/itsdaningham/status/1728437697654542634?s=46&t=U5Ga-fY7toGpDAoH3yBi_A If you can rate Jake Hessenthaler as superb surely I can dig out Justham once.Didnt say he should have saved it, he could've tried to get to it. He could see it. I ...

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023
Give over, you see plenty of games where a team genuinely get lucky or unlucky, and I'm not saying we shouldn't have scored at least again- we should have, but on another day one or two of those scrambled line clearances might have gone in. And if someone can't see the improvement between that displ...

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023
I thought we actually played pretty well and were unlucky not to get at least a point.. However, another two preventable goals conceded. Two good finishes from them but he had the freedom of Dagenham to put the winner in...

Re: NL: Boreham Wood (H) 24 Oct 2023
Man, we've seen some over the last year or so but that took the biscuit. Totally outclassed by a team lower than us at the start of play. Was pretty much a training game for BW who should have scored probably 5 or 6.. Genuinely hard to watch. I'm moving to South London at the weekend and even as a S...

Haha, I'll put you in touch with the missus...AVincelotFlyingLeap wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 9:22 pm Three times in the last four seasons at least we've gone out to a last minute goal. I am very sad. At least there will be another Saturday where we are not playing, maybe we could all take RM1's advice and go on holiday to get away from this mess

Re: FA Cup: Bracknell Town (A) 14 October 2023
I'm on holiday so didn't see but unfortunately I'm not that surprised. Not that I think we should have considered this an easy win. Think Bracknell have half decent cup pedigree and seem to remember them giving Ipswich a game for half a game in last year's FA cup.

Re: NL: York City (H) 3 October 2023
One up and playing quite well against poor opposition but failing to convert decent chances to be out of sight and inevitably we shoot ourselves in the foot wth defensive aberrations. Was a smart finish for the winner to be fair to the lad but should never have found himself in that position to begi...

Re: NL: Wealdstone (A) 28 August 2023
Defended manfully if a bit scrappily at times for the first rough 25 mins or so but great to get a shut out as our American correspondent might say...as others have said still a bit worried about goals as those two were quite lucky and we missed two one on ones. That last one from Kendall I think be...

I thought Weston was our best player, and with due respect, he's not in his first flush of youth. Gawd help us..

Never been moved to post during a game but I think this is possibly the worst performance for many a year. Words fail me..

Re: Dreadfull.
Yep a day to forget for all the debutants..like others I fear where the goals will come from in this team. I thought Syd had a couple of bright moments but ultimately no end product.
That said, I did think Southend looked a decent team and should have been out of sight by halftime.

Leyton Orient: http://www.leytonorient.com/news/2023/may/15/leyton-orient-announces-retained-list/ Colchester: http://www.cu-fc.com/news/2023/may/retained-list/ Never realised that the Colchester squad this season appears to just be the Ipswich team from 2019/20... curious. Some decent older player...

Re: Oxford City
And look who done the damage on Brackley with a brace a certain Ashley Hemmings remember him? Thought he was pretty decent player for us, seems thats another one that left us and holding well elsewhere. I think he scored the best goal I've seen for the Daggers. An overhead kick against Pompey (blim...

Re: Well Done Notts But Paul Cook Give Your Head a Wobble
When you compare overall scoring records PM trumps it of course but I think Quigley is ahead of him on form and PC obviously sees them everyday and thinks the same. Thought Quigley was a handful for our defence in the game a few weeks back.
