Re: Trouble/abuse at todays game?
I always knew we had some pretty mindless fans, I just didn't realise we had so many that are just vile, nasty, pathetic people. I could quite easily give reason after reason after reason as to why this is so unpleasant but of course the vast, vast majority of our supporters already know it - the fe...

Re: Eastleigh tickets
They have to coax people in somehow. Absolutely dreadful facilities. The nearest stations are 40 minutes away crossing lots of dual carriageways. Road is closed so you will struggle to get a taxi. The car park at the ground is used as budget parking for Southampton Airport and there is no possible p...

Question Time, tonight from Boston

Re: Jodi or JMD
Jones can't get in the side that are bottom of league 1. He is yet another player who left us before he was ready. He may well come good in the future, but JMD is already a much more rounded player for a guy only 36 days older.

Re: Chants
Whether Woodford and Durnzo think it acceptable is not the point. Of course we don't know what the Bromley fans thought but we do know that Benstead, Arnu, Sussex, and you can add me the list of people who most certainly were offended (..... and those of us unhappy are certainly not "church mic...

Re: Bromley Away
Yet another really pleasant afternoon - the three points never really in any doubt. And that is such a pleasure compared to the last few years. So, sorry to be negative, but why did the team just shut up shop after the third goal went in. All that pretty passing - several times managing to get from ...

Re: New poll on ownership
Sorry Mike, I didn't make myself clear and I understand why you read it that why. I was just pointing out that people who come across as charming, may in fact be genuine, or they may not. It was just a response to NBDags point. It is of course wholly unfair of me to judge badly Mr Tamplin I have no ...

Re: New poll on ownership
"It is not too easy to become a big successful businessman - who knew?" - you raise a very good point NBDag. But when I look back at all the people in my life who have, or have tried, to rip me off, they were always charming to the point of smarmy. The less than charming people I sussed ou...

Re: New poll on ownership
........ and I can't believe how naive some people are*, but that's just me. Different opinions - let's not get unpleasant about it. This is getting like the Brexit debate. * not just at our club but also at Hornchurch, Grays, Canvey, Colne, Boston, Darlington, Rushden, Notts Co, Aldershot etc, need...

Alan, for a normally very fair man. I thought your third option somewhat "loaded"!

Re: Ponderings
I say "majority" as that is what comes across on this forum. There was also a poll on this forum which had "yes" 6, "no" 19. As no-one is able to poll every one of our fans I have made my assumption on the presumption that the most ardent and opinionated supporters are ...

Re: Ponderings
Welcome back John, your points are spot on in my opinion, which probably explains why no-one has commented. Those that see "investment"* as the way forward just cannot disagree with what you say. Regrettably I can't see what can be done by those that are concerned about the future - the pr...

Re: Glenn Tamplin Interview
They brought 20 fans when the came to us, despite being very near the top of the league - what long term future have they got - none - they will disappear as quickly as they arrived.

Re: Glenn Tamplin Interview
No criticism from me, Auntie. He agrees to give an interview and then comes across as "very nice" - well it would hardly have been otherwise. The 48% stake would make me far more likely to warm to him if it was guaranteed he, or his successors, were prevented from getting another 3% .........
