Arnu did, when he wasn't introduced personally.

Apparently he didn't give any interviews. Which is true if you ignore the interviews he gave after taking over.

Re: Can you believe ?

It was an example of people playing football in the wrong place wasn't it?
Like the time in the first half when he decided to take on one of their players when he was essentially the last man and wasn't good/quick enough to beat him and got very lucky to be given a free kick.

Re: Final result following us taking the lead..

There is more to Billy Bingham situation then meets the eye I am given to understand, I can't betray something that is not in the public domain and if accurate his non selection is nothing to do with his fitness. Surely not another player than has fallen out with Burnett? That must be getting up to...

Re: Final result following us taking the lead..

THE reason we lost was because for every single good thing the team did in the 1st 45 went completely out the window in the 2nd, not just the way the team DIDNT KEEP its shape, discipline and closing down of the opposition but more so the fact they didnt stick to the fast flowing, quick, passing fo...

Re: F*****G SHAMEFULL

The referee was most certainly not poor. I can't think of anything he really got wrong.
It'd help if the likes of Boucaud and Hemmings could actually tackle properly.

To have been so comfortable for 44 minutes of the first half to then manage to be so poor in the second half was ridiculous.

Re: Artificial Pitches

I can o ly assume you haven't read the rest of this thread if you think no conclusions have been jumped to about it making financial sense. I'm not sure what the size of the club has to with demand. I've read the whole thread thanks. As you correctly state, the club would obviously have to weigh up...

Re: Artificial Pitches

From what I can see here, it is wrong to jump to the conclusion that it might not be as good financially as some suggest, but fine to jump to the conclusion that it would be good financially. Strange. There would be some be benefits, but also a lot of costs that some don't seem to want to consider. ...

Re: York

Our first goal was a very good move not sure what more you can ask for from players at this level? It's terrible to watch as the opposition had no intention of attacking so perhaps go and have a moan at the York manager. A very good move? Really? It was a couple of passes forward, ending with a mis...

Yes, because winning a game means we should ignore that it was a terrible game to watch or that there are still plenty of things that aren't right.

Re: York

We were supposed to be signing two goalkeepers to compete with eachother, not to have one first choice and one backup. O'Brien clearly isn't up to competing as a first choice. I'm not sure how he is any better than Seabright as a backup, let alone why he was picked to be first choice in the first p...

Re: York

Well, it was a win, but it wasn't a game that is going to pull the crowds in. They were poor, we were slightly less poor. Labadie did nothing all game and ends up with two goals and MOM - pretty much summed the whole game up. Cureton works his arse off but needs some decent balls played to him occas...

It's very polite of you to give them both the opportunity to go first. ;-)

Re: Cheltenham Away

I've seen two previews and they've both said the Bingham is still out.

Wasn't Matt Saunders a Wayne-type player? I like Bingham but we can't afford to have players that are out injured as often as he is.
