East Stirling v Stirling
I don't know if anyone else was giggling through this fixture yesterday? East Stirling v Stirling. I was wondering how on earth you would commentate on such a game? "Stirling have the ball, no they have lost it and it's gone to Stirling" . Then it appeared that one of the players may have ...

Re: "Football Clubs Banning Local Papers"
Agree. The trouble with publicity that spouts from the club, it is very often just reaching people who already know about the club. The local papers have the capacity to reach those who don't know about the club, and maybe, if they did know about the club, they would attend, or buy from the club sho...

"Football Clubs Banning Local Papers"
From the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-24743660 It seems some of the bigger clubs who didn't like the local press writing negative reports, have banned them stating 'fans can get all their news from the club website'. Seems a very bad precedent and I hope it doesn't sp...

How long do you plan to be around this time Ron? You've been sorely missed.

Re: Daggers article
Have you not started a thread on this forum about your insomnia? And I have read stuff about various other health issues you have, none of which were anonymous as they were all under your name. Attention seeking of the highest order.[/quote] The 'insomnia club' isn't just about me; it was on anothe...

Re: Who's Who?
I am from the old forum, and wish the new forum all the best ...... but I am naturally pessimistic and assume the trolls will soon drive me away. I am sure no-one is interested in my previous persona, but they could probably work it out easily enough if they really had a mind to. I did from your fi...

Re: Daggers article
I suggest that with the factual inaccuracies and manipulating the truth, and then the attention seeking post on here, (knowing full well what the responses would be) RickyB is now the Daggers version of Liz Jones (the nightmare female 'journalist' from the Daily Fail). Wow. Being called an attentio...

Re: Balls to the lot of you
Could have been a lot worse, I was almost hiding behind the sofa when names such as MK Dons were drawn.
At least we have a chance of beating Bristol City.

Re: Peter Pamment
Nice touch today with the armbands and I was quite moved by the Frank Sinatra tune played in his memory. It was sad seeing the flowers where peter always stood.A fine tribute to a true gent. ^This. I thought the tribute today was fitting and thought the playing of New York New York far more moving a...

Home v Rochdale.
Wayne looked a little creased from behind. Was wearing an open necked blue shirt too.

Re: well chuffed
Hines was being repeatedly fouled in the first half. It got a bit better after the Rochdale player got booked but not much. Thought Rochdale no 7 was quite scary. Him v their number 24 must have been next to each other other in the queue for height. Before the game Wayne Burnett said he heard I hadn...

Re: Man of the match text vote ...
I confess, as much as I hate this, I actually voted today. What I would like some clarification of though, is how the mobile numbers are going to be used. Are they going to be sold on? I've always been very careful about who has my mobile number as I keep my phone on 24/7. so were you the winner of...
