Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient

Wouldn't discount this game as no big deal exactly! The winner of the tie gets extra revenue for progressing to the first round proper, and the good chance of getting an EFL club. If it's a non league side then surely an excellent chance of further progress.

Guess if we were to draw Southend or Colchester in the Essex Senior Cup, you would be more than willing to pay the "normal" gate rate then? :D

Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient

Fair enough. I just rarely see the point of discounting something that is likely to sell well. I do not believe any club should "cash in" in such instances! This is, after all a 4th qualifying tie. If we were playing a club lower down the pyramid, I doubt the price of tickets would be abo...

It's usually the teams at the lower end of the table we struggle against. We are overdue an away win!

Would certainly be surprised if the gate didn't surpass the 2000 mark.

In fairness Romford Dagger, you were the only one to mention Ipswich, unless they're the only team in Suffolk! :D

I've always supported Ipswich.

In fact I'm on my way to a game right now.
Surely you are not blaming me for that?
