Re: Daggers V Southend
Looking forward to our encounter this evening. Should be another good showing of Southend and we definlately owe you one. Hoping zavon Hines stops falling over this time. A win should finally put paid to any play off ambitions your end. When was the first one? :P Hopefully your players will be usin...

Re: There has to be something going on
Popped in the clubhouse last night and the toilets are being completely refurbished. Looking very flashy indeed!! Pair that with the fact our top scorer has told Peterborough where to go and you have to wonder what the hell is going on! Maybe West Ham will come in for Zavon and he will also give th...

Re: Daggers sign a striker.
Surprised we managed to get him. Hopefully he will be a hit and form a partnership with Rhys. With Brentford doing so well at the moment, we may be able to extend the loan. Let's hope he lasts longer then the Reading youngster did!Ilford Dagger wrote:Sounds a decent signing & has a point to prove, hope so.

Re: Murphy Gone
Rhys is still a Dagger. Does it matter the reason why that is? We should enjoy (hopefully) the time we can retain his services. We all know we cannot hold on to "performing" players for too long. When Rhys DOES actually move on is probably the best time to have this discussion!

Which puts him in the ideal position to make the call.Richie wrote:No striker is safe!
Strange one though, especially as Wayne worked with the youngsters over the years.

Re: Injuries
Hines is more likely to get booked attempting to win possession of the ball (especially when he has just been relieved of it).

Re: Injuries
Cannot disagree with that, but theres very little chance of improvement in our division when you see the inconsistency in the Premiership even.

Re: Injuries
I wonder if they'll let murphy off the booking after the ref sees it was in ? It was a needless booking ! Berating the linesman (who was absolutely useless) the way he did was a senseless act, which was always going to lead to the resulting action by the ref. Part of Murphys makeup that needs to be...

Re: And Now The End Is Near
[quote="SUSSEX DAGGER"]A good bit of dealing by Wayne completed this morning. Was only thinking that former Premiership teams with ambitions to return do do invest money and give contracts to Donkeys. Then somebody had to remind me about Miles. Whatever the outcome i know one thing for cer...

Re: Femi or Connors........
....or how about both, especially away from home. Now that Jack is back on the scene and in favour play Femi in midfield. This would allow him to rampage up field without leaving the defence exposed along with falling back to help in defence when it comes under pressure. Conners did well yesterday, b...

Re: Now that was Pathetic....
2 great saves and hit the post, on another day they go in and and we win. although I though wte would lose today, play a team bottom of the league think we will piss it and win 3-0, then under estimate them, put in a poor shift and lose, happens all the time with us aka Cheltenham lol Are you forge...

Let's get to 60 (sooner then later) and hope we're in with a chance of promotion! It's very possible, but certainly not based on the first half hour at Oxford!Masked Man wrote:... More than I had expexted us to have at this point.... Well done... Now lets get to 50 and breath out....

Re: I see old.....
Nice to get the armchair supporters views on it Bearaab. Not totally bullshit though is it?It will pass with time.Just the way he left was a bit nasty given all the "Im a dagger thru and thru" bollocks he fed us for so long.In essence he just bailed out with 2 minutes notice for a big pot ...
