Re: What changes would you make if you took over the club ?

I love the hypothetical idea of this thread... There are some absolute ******** brilliant ideas knocking around. Really well done all. Ideas that won't cost millions, ideas that are real and have foundations and show perhaps a little that the fans have been taken for granted for a little while. Are ...

Re: What changes would you make if you took over the club ?

Complete overhaul of the commercial side. A sign at the top of Victoria road with the next fixture date and time to let people know we're there and when we're there. A complete overhaul of the website to make it more professional and competently written. Have a matchday manager to go out and engage ...

Re: What would you do

I don't think we'll necessarily go to the wall - at least I'm hoping we never do. I would have to go for sticking around with a phoenix club. The Daggers of the late 90s and early 2000s were fun, exciting and part time. Ok, football has moved on; but there are still decent hard-working part time foo...

Re: Club Statement

Very disappointing news. I am however dubious over the whole thing. The reasoning seems wishy-washy to say the least and not necessarily very becoming of a man who has built a well respected business empire. To blame flags and lack of unity seems unfair. As a supporter of 20 years; there have been s...

Joe White joins Stevenage

Just come up on Twitter. Shame, thought he had real potential. Good luck Joe.

Re: Should Still go. .

I think from today's showing we are nearing the end with him. Football management isn't easy, but that was flat and gutless in its entirety. John was virtually silent even at 2-0 and the orders that were barked were almost impossible to execute, particularly in the last 10 where there's little space...

Was there a link to it and a closing date?

Can't remember seeing it anywhere...

Does anyone know if the club are running a coach for non-members for this game?

Re: Wrexham & Macclesfield

We were sat bang in line with the by line for when the Bloomfield goal went in. May be wrong, but I strongly (strongly) believe that he was onside and it was an incorrect decision. Wrexham offered next to nothing for so much of the game. We regularly had 2 at the back and only putting pressure on ou...

Re: Shaymen (H)

A good result and what could prove to be a very handy three points come the end of the year. Felt we contained Denton well and controlled the game. That first half was brilliant and was one of the best 45 minutes I've seen in recent years. However, I felt that straight after the break we took our fo...

Re: Premier League Cup

I was at the game and I have to say that despite the result, it was a rather good game and was interesting to see some of our up and coming players. I think there are a couple of the youngsters who have the potential to push for a place in the first team this season. Personally, the lad who played a...

Any ideas if the car park will be open for fans to park in? And whether the club shop is open?

Re: YouTube Highlights

We're doing so much better on all social media platforms since we bought the new woman in. It's little things like the silly videos we put together around the club and on match days that will give us a bit more exposure and bring more people through the gates. Pleased to see Glyn bringing a bit of b...

Re: Goalkeepers

From a personal point of view, the first Stevenage goal was a classic case of the defence and Justham mixing themselves up. They didn't deal quick enough so Justham came off his line and found himself in no man's land. He needed to be more vocal and have a better command of his box. Not hearing that...

Re: What do you think of the new signings ?

I was at the Stevenage game yesterday and thought Ferrier really stood out from the new signings. He's a real handful and with the right shape and delivery, he can be a real fox in the box for us. The weather conditions were a bit of a problem for us and the pitch played really slow. New signings wi...
