Re: Matt Rhead
Not for me. In a team in a certain style, he'd work, although I'd question if he could still play the way he did at Lincoln at the age of 35. We try and build up a lot more patiently under Taylor so we need someone who can ideally play them little link passes to the 3 around the striker and also hav...

Re: Is Luque this seasons Jack Munns ?
11 unbeaten isn't to be sniffed at. Wasn't long ago we struggled to go 2-3 unbeaten. But yes, we're not good enough to go up unless we get a better striker in. At present, we'll be in that battle for one of the final top 7 spots along with 5-6 others.

Re: Today
Too many players didn't play well today and we never looked like we had the tempo to stretch a team willing to play with a flat back 5. Luque was dire, Dobson largely anonymous, Balanta not his best day either. We could probably have afforded to go 433 earlier. McQueen I thought did well first half...

Re: Line Up On The Plastic
What a result!! And just like that were up to 6th. I dont wish to take anything for granted but Chorley is surely a gimme 3 points on Saturday! That is the exact reason why we could easily lose. We're in form but I've seen too many home shockers over the years to take anything for granted. I hope s...

Re: Dagenham Rejects,FC
If we had the team that we had in our first season back down here in the National League, I am confident that we would win the league comfortably. That was a very tough year with Lincoln, Forest Green, Tranmere and Aldershot all excellent sides. Aldershot in particular were a superb footballing side...

Re: Ricay
More fool Wheeler for having the stupidity to go back. A year ago he seemed a bright young manager. Now he's on the scrapheap.dagger4eva wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 5:34 pm Little more than a year after sacking Wheeler, it's confirmed that Mr Cokehead has seen fit to sack him, again.

Re: Maidenhead United (A)
Have no idea where Odametey will fit into this squad when he’s back. Robinson, Phipps, and Brundle are all playing very well and dropping any of them is a harsh albeit inevitable move It's a good thing. CM should be a contested area and Phipps/Robinson have given the manager something to think abou...

Re: Match Preview: Bromley
Couldn't make last night as I had something on but watched the game on record when I got in. Quite nice watching us on TV as you pick up things that you don't notice when you're in your same spot week after week at the game. As a unit, I thought we looked very good and defended well for the most par...

Re: Right......
Strevens Garrard McMahon Currie In that order. Think any one of them will do a decent job here. I think if we really, really wanted any of them top 3, we could get them. McMahon is out of work and would come here very quickly I think. Strevens would be a case of we'd need to offer him what Eastleig...

Re: Taylor out !!
Under Taylor we've scored only more than twice 4 times, this is in 54 Matches. Have now only won 6 games in 2018 from a total 23 games. This is now his worse stint win ratio wise as a manager. One goal from open play this season, shall I go on? Remind me why he is still in a job as of this lunch ti...

Re: Dover Tuesday
If Graham is going to continue at left back does that mean Gordon is now third choice? Or just not ready due to the Gold Cup? If he is 3rd choice, it's ridiculous. I'd assume it's because of the Gold Cup though. Really when you consider that we have Gordan, Graham and Croll who can play left back, ...

Re: Dover Tuesday
Good win. I wonder if we'll be better away from home this season where the likes of Brundle, Luque, Dobson and Balanta have a bit more space to weave their magic.
Happy to get on the board!

Re: Woking Home
Agree with most of that Adrian. However, don’t understand the criticism of Manny. Thought he had a good game and Diarra was flattened by marking Quigley the whole game. All the stories about Quigley proved true. Slow, bad touch, no presence. If the owners don’t want to embraced by their promotion p...

Re: Woking Home
I've read a lot of 'don't jump on them yet' and 'be positive' comments on different platforms over the last 2-3 weeks. However, our fanbase knows a good player from a shit one. It doesn't take long to watch someone and know whether they'll come good or not. Joe Quigley is not going to come good. Eve...
