Re: Woking..

Todays game is a reality of where we are and how far behind the top sides we really are, how’s has this been allowed to happen oh yeah lack of ambition throughout the club despite the money to suggest otherwise. Accept mediocre get mediocre FC. You beat me to it Dog. Today was a massive wake up cal...

Re: Torquay..

Looked leggy and off it first half. Subs made a difference in the 2nd half, especially Saunders who is looking a class act. If we play like that on Thursday I think it will be comfortable for Gillingham. 😞

Re: National League Salaries

Just to make it easy for you our economy has tanked and the British peso is worth about 1 USD (especially after you’ve changed it up and lost a load on ‘commission’) but we have taken back control and are now a Global powerhouse so all good 😂

Re: Beckenham Town FC

We were right on it from the start and played to the level that should be expected from a full time team 3 divisions above but fair play to the lads today - I’m sure that Notts County fans would have taken our performance and result over theirs any day.

Re: Post Wrexham (A) vexations here.

There are clubs like Chelsea who sack managers for fun and at the other end of the scale is Dagenham - the club that inflicts death by a thousand cuts on it's own fans by persevering with failing managers for years until they finally hit rock bottom and the club is forced into a change. I sometimes ...

Re: Please post protestations about Bromley (H) here

Great win today despite a few obvious negatives. The worry is whether this was a one off or if we can maintain the level of intensity for the rest of the season. Bromley had an off day today and we did well to capitalise. Notts County will be a very different prospect on Saturday. First proper test ...

Re: Please post solicitudes about Yeovil Town (A) here during and post-fixture. And pre-fixture as well this time.

Truth is that the MD has got the owners in his pocket. They should have replaced him with their own man in 2018 when they took over. That decision is the reason why we have completely underachieved for the past 4 years. Of course it’s time for a change at the top but it won’t happen under these owne...

Re: Gateshead (H) in-game and post game thoughts

I have to say I couldn't believe the line up when I saw it before the match. As far as I know Hare has never played central defence and he plays instead of two central defenders one of whom, when he came on, was our best player, even if he only played 45 minutes. Utterly bizarre. Sagaf who always s...

Re: Gateshead (H) in-game and post game thoughts

The trends from pre-season all alluded to Hare starting in a back three and Rance in midfield. Both of which were of considerable concern to supporters, justifiably in the end. How can you sign two specialised centre halves then bench both to play a right back there instead? Baffling management to ...

Re: Gateshead (H) in-game and post game thoughts

Can’t disagree with any of these comments. Sad to see Manny struggling but it’s a brutal game so I don’t want to see him in the next game. Just didn’t seem to want it as much as they did. We were almost beaten by a team that I would bet big money on to be relegated this season. Depressing.

Re: McCallum

Mate of mine who is a Gillingham fan reckons he is signing for them today. Anyone else heard this? What is the point of posting a rumour? Oh so sorry for speculating on our beloved team. I’ll make sure I only post factually correct information in the future. It will ensure that more than 7 people b...

Re: Southend (A)

Such a shame. I think we would have taken a huge following tonight if we had won on Saturday but I know a few people, like me, who are struggling to keep getting behind such a bunch of chronic underachievers. I’ll be donating the £40 I would have spent getting to this game to Ukrainian refugees. The...

Re: York City (H) Trophy

Hi Daryl, Good to see you after the game in the bar, having a good laugh with the few ar*e kissing Dagenham fans who seemed more than happy to tell you "how unnlucky" you were to not beat a team from a lower division, who you had over an hour to put away from 1 up, and failed miserably. A...

Re: York City (H) Trophy

Thought we looked nervous for a lot of that game but still felt we would easily hang on. York were totally sh*t and yet we couldn’t put them away. Too often decision making was poor up front, especially from Balanta. This team simply aren’t good enough. We would have been smashed in the semi final a...
