Re: Solihull Moors
Yep as noted by others, the game has been commented on on another thread but I suppose the lack of a team's name in a separate post (as per normal) means the OP didn't notice. I also thought Solihull were slightly better; quite neat and tidy in possession without creating much. However, two moments ...

Re: Bye Paul McCallum
I think we saw the best of him in a Daggers shirt a while back so I'm sanguine about this. Scored a fair amount but another one who for me didn't quite live up to expectations. Also a bit lazy for me, needs really good service, maybe he'll get it at Chesterfield.

Re: It's time now....
It really is time for Darryl to go now. The comments on the final whistle tweet are horrendous but unanimous. There are only 2 people in the entire club who can't see that this is a complete waste of time and money. The owners need to stop backing a manager who can't get a tune out of a pretty dece...

Re: It's time now....
I've not called out the manager before now. Like you say he seems like a decent bloke and I like that largely he likes his teams to be attack minded. But it's been largely mediocre under him. I think he got away with it last year finishing strongly to get 8th and albeit outside playoffs, probably si...

Re: Points to stay up
No, this is utterly ridiculous, (unless tongues are firmly in cheeks) but I'll cut you both some slack because I am very disappointed the way the team are in apparent free fall..

Re: Josh Walker
Good luck to him. Was in a good vein of form but I wasn't convinced he was as good as fellow fans thought. He couldn't get in the starting 11 prior to McCallum injury because Morias and him are a better front paring.

Re: Bromley (A) Thread
Hare's free kick seem to elude everyone and go in but overall we deserved to winning at half time and I thought in the second half we were coping pretty well. Their equaliser almost seemed like a mis hit but in any event is was very soft. Pity cos although we're still in a reasonable position it cou...

Re: Eastleigh (H) GAME OFF
Joke. I was about three pints near The Monument before I decided to head out on The District Line. Got the news enroute and was miffed as could have stayed in the pub . But joking aside as others have said this is amateurish, make the decision at 16.00 latest.

Re: Manny
He looked like he had a slight limp to me (and Dagdale) from the stand, as we saw him walk round the pitch on Saturday.

Re: Woking..
Funny, we always seem to save our worst performances for our biggest games..Only one true moment of quality produced our undeserved goal out of nothing, but instead of giving us momentum, Woking continued to completely control the game and looked like adding to their total. And as we someone else sa...

Haha, other way round here, me '70, her '69. I occasionally make 'before my time' references if she refers to something from days gone by

Re: Standard of officiating in this game!
I watched on TV too. None of the pundits could see why it was given offside and I agree (no drink taken either!)

Haha, yes, I'm 52 and in the same vein of thinking all police officers look about 15, the same goes for some referees..

Standard of officiating in this game!
Just when you think you've seen it all. First of all obviously NOT offside for Walker goal and then the most blatant pen you'll ever see at any level not given. Absolute joke.

Re: Gillingham FC FA Cup Replay Thursday 8th December 2022
Yep Melbourne it's kind of like losing our equivalent of a cup final because the trophy was playing a prem team and the circumstances over the two games just makes it even more deflating.
