Re: Is Adam Lallana...

Going back (quite) a few years I remember Paolo Futre playing for West Ham v us in a friendly (he was exceptional & looked as if the ball was tied to his boot) I'm guessing he might have played against RM when at Inter/AC whichever one it was?

Re: LUTON MATCH THREAD

How strange that those that comment on name calling/personal insults etc then descend to exactly the same level!!
How about just making objective (not objectionable) points & just leaving it like that?
Some of these threads descend to the level of politicians when they go at each other.

Re: Burnett Poll In or Out

WB has yet to have a run of 4 points from 51 like his predecessor did so he should be safe for a while, he really does need 3 points v Newport Co though as the following 2 away matches are very tough which probably means we'll get 4/6 points from them (let's hope especially for 3 at Dog Kennelworth ...

Re: Hows This for an Idea To Improve Home Form

In the Prem Managers would try something like that in similar circumstances (someone like the great Brian Clough for example).

Re: Gaffer Resigns

Amazing how quickly things change, a few months ago Nigel Worthington was a hero as was Russ Wilcox at Scunthorpe with 20 something unbeaten to begin with but now given the boot following which they win!! If D&R can let JS remain in charge with a run of 4 points from 51 (3 of those came in the 9...

Re: OT Scottish Referendum

I reckon a good proportion of the yes vote was more of a "get rid of Cameron and his cronies" vote than anything anti English.Remember out of 59 constituencies only 1 is conservative up there yet they still get Tory government.Whatever your political persuasion that is a bit unfair Id say...

Re: OT Scottish Referendum

I reckon they will vote 'No' narrowly & stay within the Union - let's face it they are onto a good thing with England effectively subsidising their lifestyle to our detriment. What I don't like is that Scottish MPs decide what happens in England but the reverse doesn't apply, Labour need Scotlan...

You will be pleased to know it was plugged regularly at Chelmsford yesterday by Essex as they always do.

Re: Signage

Half the catchment area isnt even targeted (Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Epping Forest)- an area with quite a high population .... and the club dont even attempt to get these people. Very true, also just to stir things a little most fans only refer (still after 22 years) to the Club as Dagenham &a...

Re: WALK OUT TUNE

Two by Guns and Roses might fit the bill - Welcome to the Jungle or Sweet Child of Mine, A bit low key/low tempo 'Against all Odds' by Phil Collins - which sums up us still being a FL Club.

Re: WALK OUT TUNE

Uprising by Muse would be an excellent choice, also Song 2 by Blur, as a punt from the distant past how about Hocus Pocus or Sylvia both by Focus (1970's Dutch rock band who specialised in instrumentals)?
More modern surely Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis has to be the one?

Re: RIP Derek Almond

I'd echo what the others have said, a decent guy who always made the effort to talk to supporters & did a huge amount for the Club especially LI in their early days. RIP & condolences to his family & many friends.

Re: Luis Suarez...

After what he has done I think it is disgraceful that Suarez is now going to get a lucrative move to Barca & presumably pocket a huge signing on fee or whatever it's called as he hasn't actually asked for a transfer. Liverpool fans must be absolutely gutted, Brendan Rodgers also. He'll be more a...
