Re: General Meeting, Consortium et al

Precisely my point Living within our means means very possibly not at a very good level If people are happy with that fair enough Personally I enjoyed League One and League two wasn't bad either Sheffield Wednesday away beats Brentwood away for me Getting beat every week did not do it for me. We ca...

Re: General Meeting, Consortium et al

This is a romantic pipe dream that keeps going. Even if it happened how would continuous funding be arranged for a start. Owning shares might mean a short probably small cash injection then what, who would run the Club, make decisions, maybe a Forum poll to decide something, God help us. Though I a...

Thats not going to help the gate
Same as not going to any more games as the early bird discount was discontinued
It was discontinued as its not cost effective. What are our pay on day prices for next season?

Re: Rhys Murphy

They've got Matt Tubbs too now, he wasn't that great for Eastleigh last season but what a strike force that is for this level Chucking money about left right and centre. Tubbs has been poor for a few years now, not done anything of note for four years. They have 3 strikers that have the potential t...

Re: Pre Season Results/Thoughts etc

What the others said typical first game for many lots of sharpness needed but it will come. Assombalonga is very very quick. The right back second half put some super balls in.

Pennell hobbling around the ground at the end was not a good sight.

Re: Pre Season Results/Thoughts etc

So it was a kids team last night bar Griffiths and Southam who are here to keep fit. Unless someone comes in for Widdowson we wont be signing Griffiths.

First team tonight over at Thurrock.

I don't rate him Doe made him look better than he was. Will be an average conference defender, if you get released by Charlton........

Re: Tamplin has pulled out?

What rights would prospective individual shareholders have before purchasing? Would there be an independent audit of accounts viewable to prospective shareholders prior to purchase. I like many others can't believe that despite FA Cup run and player sales that we are in dire financial straights. Ye...

Re: Paul Benson

I'm certainly not forgetting the Curo of last season! Also I haven't forgotten the Jamie of the season before that (when he had a much better team around him). We have a young squad for the coming season and having some experienced players amongst them could be very beneficial in my opinion. Cant d...

Re: Tamplin has pulled out?

I'm also up for buying at least £200 of shares. It's like the Buy a Brick scheme (Alan's successful idea) only this time you will really own a piece of the club! I merely copied the idea from other clubs where it had worked, I won't take credit for coming up with the idea. I also copied the idea of...

Very true. I think we need to some wingers too, I doubt there will be too many additions due to current circumstances.

Re: Tamplin has pulled out?

There is one question you need to ask yourselves though; Would you really feel comfortable buying shares in the club with Thommo 'looking after' the additional funds? For all those who used to thinm we ran a tight ship etc. should now be under no illusions at all that this is actually far from the ...
