Re: Just a Pub team from Essex?
A decent read that, which typifies what most of the fans have known all season, that being that Wayne Simply hasn't a clue on formations tactics etc. We were outplayed on Saturday by part timers and quite frankly anyone from director downwards couldn't help but feel embarrassed at the final whistle....

There's no way on Gods creation they'll even contemplate playing their most prized assett. I fully expect Joe Royal or Bob Latchford to score a brace apiece.

Re: Boucaud Watch
I've been praying for Frankie Raymond to get his chance, but it don't happen. Not only does Diego Boucaud get the nod over him time and time again, he's given the captains armband to boot!! ******** outrageous. I'm constantly baffled as to how he even gets a start tbh. He simply offers nothing.

Re: Who's surprised?
Have to agree we were dreadful today and after such a bright start. We were totally outplayed in the second half and were quite frankly an embarrassment to all connected with DRFC. That's not taking anything away from Whitehawk who were outstanding, especially Torres and the little No 7. They thorou...

Re: Prediction v Whitehawk
I don't know about Wayne making sure we won't win. But I have to admit the old cynic in me wouldn't be against betting he wouldn't be too miffed if we didn't go through, precisely for the reasons you've mentioned.bloke down the pub wrote:We won't win ,WB will make sure of that . Prediction v Whitehawk
After gutsy displays recently against top half sides we were well and truly brought back down to earth by Morecambe on Tuesday, by all accounts we got what we deserved, nothing! And so we move on to the FA Cup this Sunday and play host to non league Whitehawk and a potential money spinning 3rd round...

Prediction v Morecambe
Well we battled well, fought for every ball and were well and truly robbed by Plymouth on Saturday! If I had one small gripe about it then I would say Wayne should have made some very late substitutions, just to take the sting out of the game, but there you go it didn't happen, so we move on to More...

Re: Cruel
Great performance today from the boys, so unlucky not to get the win. I would have liked Wayne to have made a couple of substitutions late on ie 89th minute and the other in injury time, just to take the sting out of the game, but sadly it didn't happen. Can't fault the boys though, great performance.

Re: Prediction v Plymouth
If memory serves, Plymouth came down here last season and we played probably our best football of the season that night and won 2-0. Be absolutely chuffed if history repeats itself. Here's hoping.

Re: Amazing
Cureton always tries the chip so I can believe it From where I was standing, I thought JC had a sneaky little look to see where the keeper was and decided on the chip as well. His celebration befits that of a bloke that meant it I reckon. A special mention should go out to Dunne who won the ball an...
