Re: Morias Gone

Will give the manager a chance for sure but looking at the bigger picture our top earners are being moved on, owners still talk of play offs and no doubt they will but it’s a question that needs asking and their lack of attendance this season doesn’t help matters. Our top earners could also be seen...

Re: Morias Gone

Budget cuts or just taking stock and reinvesting in areas mostly needed, i.e. defence and midfield. Let's judge Ben and the owners come August with shrewd signings. They would have already wanted season ticket money by then. Not silly are they. How can we judge the new manager when we don’t know he...

Re: New Manager

If the owners have ambition, they'll have to break the bank, cos some of the names mentioned on here won't come cheap.

Re: McMahon

This is a pivotal moment in the history of the club. The next appointment is a statement of intent. Wrexham went and got Phil Parkinson (after they had sacked their MD and got in the former Chair of the EFL). That was saying something. We need to be brutal and ambitious now. In 1999 John Bennett wa...

Re: McMahon

Firstly, this is GREAT news. I don't care why or how it's happened, even if he is off to Colchester, good luck to him, but this club was dying on it's a*se, and the change was desperately needed. Now, here is the critical moment..... we have to take our time, and make the best appointment possible,...

Re: McMahon

The timing seems strange to me, on the eve of the game at Notts County. I reckon someone is already in the frame and is probably being touted elsewhere, so the club has made its move.
Can we afford the Cowley brothers?

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread

Protesting with your feet is one logical way of showing your disgust at the current set-up, but to purchase a season ticket at snother Club is beyond loyalty imo

Re: Wealdstone

What's next for the club if the owners sell up. A potential for someone like a Tamplin to buy in. That would be disastrous. Can the fans raise the cash? I'm not sure, but that would be the ideal setup. A fans owned club where all the key decisions can be made by us. Would any of us agree to Thommo o...

An excellent result on the back of a poor defeat on Saturday.

Re: Woking..

Quite surprised how Woking under Sarll have come to be quite a force, a side that plays to a good shape and seems every player knows how to fit and work to his system and an attractive one at that, even though when we got our goal which was a very good move and probably the only bright spot of the ...
