Re: Well done the club
Don't get why some people are so keen for this initiative to fail. I don't think anyone was keen for it to fail and it's quite silly to think that. This was a great idea that just didn't quite have the right execution and that's understandably disappointing for many to see. I'm sure the next intern...

Re: Well done the club
1300 home fans today. Did this really work? What has our average been so far?

Re: Get in Joe!
Joe looked chuffed when his goal went in, great to see all of the team going over to celebrate with him too. Ben Nunn was my man on the match. Bloke was solid and as much as I like Ling I don't seem him getting ahead of Nunn. Cousins gets a well done for his superb save in the second half, too. Alth...

Re: The Heed
I agree that this could be one of the worst types of teams to play us and at the worst time too. Gateshead are no fools defensively and I'm not sure whether White/Bloomfield/Romain are ready to be leading the attack against a team like that. However saying that with Ferrier, Whitely and Fejiri behin...

Re: HAWKINS .....GONE !
Clearly we shouldn't have sold him earlier as we were right to hold out for more money and him being here for an additional month hasn't done either side any harm. He's in a better place and we're no worse off. This whole stuff about the board forcing him into a new contract still is unsubstantiated...

Re: HAWKINS .....GONE !
Not sure about all this Hawkins' uncle stuff, but if true then good luck to him. Whack in a sell on clause and all is well. Hope he bangs them in and makes a decent crust too. As for Cheek, I doubt its too bad. Walked off against Bromley, didn't receive treatment and Maidstone was less than 48 hours...

Re: Line Up On The Carpet
Bromley was my first game this season, and if how Hawkins has been used from the bench so far is the same as in that game, then I think it's a bit hard to be criticising his scoring record. Against Bromley he was constantly dropping back to receive the ball at his feet with about 2 of the attacking ...

Re: Well done the club
Great initiative. Can't believe some people are complaining about this. People love a moan. Saying a way to perhaps do something even better isn't complaining, just constructive criticism. Only people complaining about it are those who don't have season tickets and want to be given an incentive to ...

Re: Well done the club
There may well be a reason for this. As stated on the article, this is a continuation of the link up between the Clubs (may be relating to them using the ground etc). I am sure there is a reason behind it, the Club don't just pluck ideas from thin air without discussion I wouldn't think, despite wh...

Re: Well done the club
Is good to see this, but why limit this to just West Ham fans? We have the misfortune of also having Arsenal and Spurs fans surrounding us too. Seeing as almost all Arsenal fans have been pretty disillusioned with their club recently, we should also be offering them a fresh perspective on football.

3 potential transfers
In John Still's interview today it seemed to be that he said wasn't sure whether 3 players have been subject to bids. Can only imagine that these 3 are Hawkins, Whitely and Fejiri. Anyone able to shed some light on who is sniffing around them? Sounded like Still wants to keep hold of all three right...

Re: Exhibition match
Think Cheek had a knock as the first thing he did after coming off was talk to Gowens, from what I saw. Bromley were pretty shite and really didn't deserve a goal, was just lazy defending from us for their goal. We looked unstoppable going forward though and deserved about 9. Only complaints are tha...

Re: ULTIMATE TAMPLIN / ALL THINGS BILLERICAY THREAD
BBC have decided to broadcast their FA Cup game against Didcot next week. Not sure if that's on TV or online but it's pretty annoying either way. BBC are consistently clueless when it comes to non-league football and you can bank on the fact that none of Tamplin's indiscretions will be mentioned dur...

Re: Encouraging the kids
Could not agree more with what Leewilson has said. The age bracket we want to target is above primary school age. As for what DaggerJoel11 and DaggerNewbie have said, that's stuff for kids to enjoy once they've got through the door that will keep them coming back. Whilst it's good and would probably...
