Re: Chairmans reply to Consortium

Look at the accounts available online. The profit reserve has been falling for last several years ie we have been making a loss and living off reserves built up from player sales. So you can argue we were living within our means or you can argue that we were not, depends on how you view the use of ...

Re: Chairmans reply to Consortium

Long story short....the plumber is willing to allow a businessman with numerous previously failed businesses the casting vote at a football club where he has no interest other than it becoming his toy. Its an absolute joke that they are even considering allowing him to have any control other than a...

Re: Chairmans reply to Consortium

How does the chairman plan to tell Tamplin what to do when he does not cough up with the further funds and he has very little say. Is he really that dumb?

Dave the Plumber can he fix it 'NO HE CANT'.

Better than eastenders this :D

Whatever your left over with its enough to to compete. I know you want immediate success at any cost because you have another team to fall back on. How's your new seat at the athletics stadium?

Re: Tamplin - Yes or No

Yeah I get it but what sort of revenue do you think 1200 gates produces ? Bearing in mind my st works out about £8.65 a game. What sort of success do you expect on that? With this money we might just go up again sometime soon. Yes because all the income for the club is just from gate receipts. Spon...

Re: Tamplin - Yes or No

Take his money and any marketing nous he may have. I can't see what his motivation is, everyone knows a football club is rarely a profit making organisation. I don't see how gates of 1200 covers the outgoing a on a match day let alone behind the scenes. We can't give tickets away let alone charge w...

Re: Tamplin - Yes or No

Why do we need this sudden investment? Who are you believing? We have survived within our means for 25 years i'm not sure where all this sudden need for investment comes from. Also yes he cant asset strip but he can leave us with no club and loads of debts in a couple of years when we find out he is...

Re: Consortium response to negotiations

If this coup fails Thommo and Dave have no choice but to step down, either that or we force them out. The situation has been underhand and the bull they have fed from day one is shocking.

Positions untenable.

Re: Eastleigh & attendances

Southampton are a 5 minute train journey away, but I think they do the discount deals when you show a prem season ticket at the gate. Notice a lot of clubs doing that at this level. I suggested this when we were in the rymans, conference and league 2. Crazy idea specially now with 53,000 season tic...

Re: Eastleigh & attendances

You're not wrong, but my main point is getting more people to attend again. Teams needs to start winning and the prices needs to be lower. I will pay £14 at Solihull on Saturday its £18 for a terrace at home, same product board made a big error on this. They have Southampton we have, 5 prem clubs m...

Re: Eastleigh & attendances

This maybe irrelevant to us because of our apparent money struggles, but eastleigh's players all chipped in to pay for two coaches to take Eastleigh fans to forest green away. They've also a had free entry game in both seasons since they've been in the conference, that's how you get fans through th...

Re: Investment Proposals

Yeah it's getting cheaper and cheaper as he simply does not have he capital to put it in upfront. Con artist of the highest calibure! He is worth £45m should be like pocket change unless they were all lies just like its his boyhood club. Tamplin piss off, Thommo and Bennett it's time to go. Looks l...

Re: Investment Proposals

I've read through things again. 1. It is very odd that John Still is part of the consortium that gives Tamplin the most control. Is someone (e.g. Tamplin) putting up the cash for him, which is why he isn't in the East/Goodwin lot, which would have made more sense? 2. If the Tamplin deal goes ahead,...
