Re: Sideways pass crab football loada shit
Woking 10 points behind us with nothing to play for, the perfect opponents - we should have been after them from the off but got this insipid laboured first half display which was probably the worst half of football I've seen in a long time- masked of course by the late goal. And as others have said...

Re: Time for Daryl to go?
Yep, I agree with that and given that I don't necessarily think anyone would really doing much better than DM at this stage. I mean you see it throughout the football pyramid- managers get sacked left, right and centre but often nothing actually changes.

Re: Time for Daryl to go?
Garrard is also out of our league, apparently he's had offers from football league and the Scottish premiership, and his stock is only rising (especially if they can see out the last 10 minutes of the Bournemouth game).

Re: Halifax (H) Thread
Not the best performance from the team today, albeit we did dominate for a fair proportion of the game we simply could not convert that dominance into goals. I feel the lineup was questionable and I appreciate the efforts of the midfield yet they were simply overrun and couldn't feed the ball throu...

Re: Stockport (H)
Was a crap performance against good opposition but agree that people saying we should do this and do that comparing us to Stockport are living in cloud cuckoo land. They get like 9k home attendances and are a far bigger club than we'll ever be and will obviouslybe able to attract better players and ...

Re: Southend (H) FA Trophy Thread
After the second goal our kids started taunting their kids and a few of their kids piled forward in a faux attempt to get at them and one guy actually got on the pitch. Was quelled by the Boys in Blue but delayed the game for about five minutes.

Re: Crucial Week.
It's alright saying we've beaten crap teams and whilst I cannot disagree of course, this is the National League and many a time I've rocked up expecting to win comfortably, but this league often bites you on the arse so I don't do that any more. We beat previously high-flying Grimsby of course what ...

Re: Dover (H) and Covid
On the face of it a comfortable win but we were quite sloppy defensively second half and their goal (which you could see coming) woke us up at least for us to get the third. After that we should have added a fourth and fifth but poor choices let us down. Conversely Dover could have had a couple more...

Re: Salford (H) - FA Cup Thread
Thought we played well but then very frustrating to concede such a soft early goal and I thought the lack of strikers compounded as we passed up several passable chances. Salford were there for the taking.

Re: Southend
Not sure I agree with that entirely, we definitely looked to get more and thought we looked likely to (notable great save from Balanta onto woodwork)..I agree last 20 minutes petered out a bit but even then we had the odd opportunity. I suppose no point busting a gut when game sown up.

Re: Southend
A bit disappointed today I thought we should have scored more, but how nice was it to see the pikeys start to hitch up the caravans and leave after the 2nd went in, all in all a satisfying result. Well done. No complaints on the win. We, as always were garbage but where does the pikeys thing come f...

Re: Salford??? Really???
I try and keep "i'm new here and new to English football and live on the other side of the Atlantic so I have a lot to learn about all things Daggers" questions out of here and instead direct them to a penpal I have developed. But you gotta' explain this to me if you don't mind. What make...

Re: Altrincham
That's true of course but we would have if we could have managed the last few minutes out..and thinking about it, people are quick to dig out the defence but by and large they played well and they're all good players, it's the defending from the whole team that did for us.

Re: Altrincham
Tough one to take..I thought we played very well first half despite the customary early goal conceded. And early second I thought we might go on and do something similar to last week. But for reasons I cannot fathom we just let Altrincham control the game and it was no surprise when they scored. But...
