The Youth
A 9-1 defeat to Barking in the Youth FA Cup last night... who are they working with that we aren't to get a young squad capable of that?

Away to Bracknell Town... Has to be a positive result there to get the season moving.
Looks on their website like they play on an artificial surface?

Re: NL: Aldershot Town (A) 30 September 2023
Clueless. This is easily the worst dagenham team I've come across. I would much rather Mcmahon in charge then this clown that's there now. This club is a joke Another red card when we're in a game and fighting hard for points... with our current squad there's no way we can play 45 minutes with 10 m...

Re: I Dont Believe It
Other than Burnett, I can think of nobody in the world I would less like to see assisting a side defending corners or free kicks.

Would complain against any other team in the league, failing to score again... however I would have mortgaged my house on its losing tonight with our record against Halifax.Diggerthedog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 9:51 pm A point gained I guess but goalless draws won’t keep us up.
Take the point and hope for the best next up.

Am I the on;y one who sees the starting lineup today and thinks it looks even less attacking then our normal team? Where are these goals coming from?

Re: Freddie Sears signs
If he's not on mega financial terms then definitely an upgrade as part of a front 3 as can play up front and out wide... His history suggests there are no major goals in him that will turn our season around but hey, ho... Not played a game yet.

Re: Mauro Vilhete
I before they had injuries taking their total numbers below 15 (not including the two sent off at the weekend) so we're allowed to sign him and David Martin in goal... although only until the other players return from injury. Seems a pretty decent goalkeeping signing for a non league team in financi...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023
For a small bit of positivity, the new young centre back on loan looks decent and Tavares looked solid. We absolutely shut off for their goal at the free kick but look a far better defensive team than last year. No idea if Kendall had something in his loan contract about playing/ starting a certain ...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023
Bromley played us perfectly... kept tight and compact, let us pass the ball around in our final third, up to the half way line and knew we had nothing going forward.
That's the 4th best team in our league apparently??? Another season of poor sides in this league wasted.

Don't want to repeat the point on every post... but how did we sign a player facing a court case... but we couldn't get a striker in on Loan?

Happy to be corrected by anyone who attended, but that sounded like a pretty decent 0-0 game
