Re: John Still
People (or it is in my case) don't have anything against him or anyone going to work somewhere else, or for more money. As you rightly say, many people do in many industries (although not everyone is motivated by money). However, why come out with all this last job nonsense, and then just 3.5 weeks ...

Great Positivity, But Proves Fans Fickleness
What a difference a few months or even weeks make!!! Things had obviously been more positive in the last couple of months anyway, but the visit of the owners and the signings of the last few days has changed the mood entirely. Probably the most positive outlook for the club most will have sensed for...

Re: All time favourite 5 daggers players
Very tough this. I would go with: Roberts Vickers Cole Mustafa Nurse Beyond that list I would mention Doe, Vincelot, Cobb, Goodwin, Cavell, Benson, CMS, Uddin........... We have been very lucky in 27 years to see some very good players when you think about it. Hopefully in 18 months time people will...

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
Yep, Happy New Year to everyone, and hope you all have a great evening, whatever you are doing!!! A strange old Year (2018) in many ways, not least for DRFC, but we still have a club, and things look more positive at this point in time than they have for a fair while. Lets hope 2019 brings further p...

Re: Least Enjoyable Home Game Since When?
I would agree with Alan's post earlier in the thread. It wasn't great, but we weren't going to win every game from now till the end of the season. And although it was bad, we still created three very clear chances and should have got something out of the game in the end. The squad has obviously impr...

Re: Gents at the Carling stand.
I think it's pretty obvious the new owners are pretty clued up people on this kind of thing, and I am sure if people are informing them of stuff like this then in time they will get it dealt with. It can't all be done overnight (like suddenly building a great squad on the pitch) but am sure they wil...

Re: John Still retires
IF this is his retirement from management (and I say if as I am not sure it will last) then I hope John enjoys it, and I also pray it has not been brought about by any ill health or any other reasons like that. 42 years in management as a part time then full time manager is an amazing achievement. I...

Re: Still Out??
Friendly Bee, is interesting what you say with the signings from us. I think all Daggers fans would agree Robson did great job for us. Cousins also generally did good job and was well liked, but due to Justham's form this season he has not been missed. Boucs really split opinion on here, with some r...

Re: Still Out??
There is an inbetween though Mark, and this is my point, he hasn't evolved when the game has. Conference football is very different now to ten years ago. There is more football played by all sides, the game is at a quicker pace generally (there are exceptions either way to this). Nobody cares about ...
