Tony Roberts

Tony Roberts must have had a hand in the training of goalkeeper Ward playing for Wales, just seen Tony in the Welsh group at the end of the game on tv, he must have been proud of his goalie giving a brilliant performance against Switzerland.

Re: Chesterfield (A)

Thought from the start that things would not go our way without Vilhete and Balanta and I was proved right, the team work suffered against an average side, I thought Saunders was disapointing but should keep developing for next season, but the biggest problem our manager has for next season is to tr...

Re: Halifax (H)

I was checking the National league scores during the 2nd half and we went up to 10th position ( as it stands) but Eastleigh got another goal and we went back to 11th, I thought the first half hour was a slog with to many passes going astray and at one point I thought that this was going to be a bad ...

Re: Stockport (A)

What a game, the lads played brilliant throughout and deserved to win the game although we went down 1-0 through a well worked goal, we responded 4 minutes later with a good header from Macca, we bossed most of the second half , Robbo hitting the bar and George Saunders just missing a sitter in the ...

Re: Wealdstone

Yes a fantastic win but against the worst team I have seen this season, the second half started off with the stones having a lot of the ball however we coped well and should have made it 7 or 8 the team also need to think about the goal difference as we get near towards the playoffs area it might go...

Re: Barnet (A)

Excellent win, dominant from start to finish, Robbos' goal was excellent and Barnet looked a shambles, Angelo I thought had a quiet game and eventually substituted by George Saunders, Tommy Adeloye came on as a sub, and was a danger at times, we should never have let him leave the Daggers, Barnet s'...

Re: Barnet (A)

It's half time and we fully deserve our 1-0 lead, passing really well although just before the break we gave away a free kick on the edge of our box and were lucky not to concede, looking forward to the 2nd half.

Re: King's Lynn (A)

Totally agree about the commentary very unprofessional not to be back in time for the start of the 2nd half and they seemed to talk about every other bit of news re; ESL one commentator would mention an item and the other just kept saying yes in agreement, very limited amounts on the game in front o...

Re: King's Lynn (A)

When will we get rid of all the negativity, everyone knows that this league has had many games that have been so unpredictable and all games are never won unless you work hard for them, I thought many times about the quality of some of our players and I have had to eat my own words because the have s...

Re: Solihull (H)

A really tough battle against a tall and tough team who were so much better than Eastleigh, the team learnt quick how to deal with the giant up front and came away with a deserved second win scoring 3 goals this time, it was difficult to pick a best player because once again they all put in a shift ...

Re: Brutal

In the commentary on the Eastleigh game it was mentioned that the improved performance from McCallum was due to playing against his old club. However I agree with the earlier comment made that he should be having this attitude and desire in every game that he plays.

Re: Brutal

I have been watching our performances recently and they have been improving vastly the team are working much better with a higher tempo and I know that the results have not been coming however we having been getting closer and closer and finally this evening we won 2-0 we throughly deserved to win a...

Eastleigh

At long last something to show for the teams efforts, we played really well and fully deserved our win and Paul McCallum was MOTM WOW!!, I have never seen that performance from him and earnt the reward, Jones was taken off and that was a correct decision from Daryl as he was getting to feisty and we...

Re: Bromley (A)

I really could not believe how we didn't win that game,, outplaying Bromley for most of the game and Dagenham playing some of the best football I have seen from them the only thing missing as usual is the goals, it does seem that we are relying far to much on crossing the ball in the hope of some on...
