Re: passley
Is there some form of propaganda drive at the club whereby every new signing is compelled to state that he has signed for the club based on what a lovely, wonderful bloke Wayne Burnett is?!

Re: Matt Partridge
Talking of sweeping things under the carpet - was there ever any follow up from the club to this: http://www.daggers.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-dagenham-and-redbridge-stevenage-joss-labadie-fa-charge-2360820.aspx ? Apologies if I have missed any subsequent statements... There haven't been an...

Re: Cureton signs new 1 yr deal.
So if we don't win then it's shit. If we do win then is cos of some fault of the opposition. I am a million miles away from being a Burnett fan, but seriously, when we win well at least give us credit for doing the job. You can only beat what's in front of you. Yes, we're all aware that at home in 2...

Re: No plan B again
The frustration for me in the second half (ignoring the ludicrously late timing of the subs) was twofold. Firstly, we're getting a lot of success down the wings, especially with Hemming, who's delivering many crosses into the box. Sitting on the bench is the perfect man, Doidge, to attack these cros...

Re: Question for you all in here..
Orient goes back further than just one JPT game - and there doesn't have to be an aggressive atmosphere for someone to be considered a rival. Oxford predominately goes back to the season of them being "invincible".

Re: Question for you all in here..
To bring this back on topic as opposed to a load of bullshit that nobody wants to read, personally I see our main rivals as Boston and Leyton 'Orrible. Room to incorporate other teams such as Oxford in there, but for me those are our biggest two.

Re: Mansfield
Mansfield were really, really dreadful. Sadly we were even worse, and didn't seem to have a single brain cell between any of the players or management to realise that the long ball hoof to little Jamie Cureton against six foot something defenders would not ever work. Shambolic.

Re: tonights game
Echo all of the above really. It is performances like the second half that really make this season frustrating though - we showed last night that if the team actually does put in 120% for everything, then we are actually a decent (no more than that) side and can achieve mid-table obscurity comfortab...

Re: Northampton Town
Utter clueless, the ball was not quick enough in the middle of the pitch and Batt you are a ******** disgrace. To think we nearly pulled off another act of daylight robbery. Our one and only chance 2nd half comes from Rhys Murphy who would have been better off having a shocking miss rather then a b...

Re: The Lap Of Honour
I always saw it as a 2 way interaction - the players appreciating the fans for their commitment and support, and the fans appreciating the unwavering efforts of the players whatever the result. Several possibilities arise from this resulting in the absence of the lap, such as: 1. The players don't a...

Re: What is our best 11 currently?
I'm a little bemused by all these inclusions of Hines so far - the guy suffered a near career ending injury last season... Whilst we all wish and seriously hope he can return the same player, we genuinely have no idea how he will be when he returns, even when fully fit. Or is that Wayne has told us ...
