Re: Best goal you've ever seen live

Two others that stand out for me. For the sheer elation, Robbo's injury team equaliser in the FA Cup Vs Basingstoke. To this date, I have probably not gone as totally mental in reaction to a goal as I (and everyone else there) did. At the yoof of today would call it 'absolute scenes'. Also, in the F...

Best goal you've ever seen live

So, there is a bit of a tenuous link as to why I've posted this and it comes from watching Question Time right now after a bloke mentioned an article in the Kidderminster Shuttle. So, that quite obviously (ha ha) took me to rememebering the goal Benno scored against Kidderminster some number of year...

Re: Non League Football cancelled at Steps 5/6

So now steps 3-6 have all been cancelled. I do wonder if it's realistic that ay of the 3 National Leagues (for the current season) will ever resume. Its not looking a realistic prospect, is it?? With the money involved there's a lot more financial incentive to complete the Premier League and such li...

Re: Coronavirus

From the moment the prem league announced matches were being cancelled it was always going to be off. When the national League said they were going ahead and your chairman says he'd never endanger fans or his players PERIOD! that is surely a bit of a glaring indication of things to come. Then other...

Re: Nobody wan,ts to spread this virus

True, likely some clubs may well go kaput as a result.

Lets just hope we still have a club and team to support as and when a new season begins.

John Still

To step down from his role of Head of Football at Maidstone at the end of the season.

Surely he's finally gonna hang up his coat and enjoy what will be a deserved retirement....

Re: AFC Fylde

Mcmahon gambled on Saturday and it paid off. He gambled last night and it didn't. I actually thought we would've been particularly fortunate to have got the draw as we were clearly having an off day and Fylde looked bang up for it. Sat right behind Bentley, whilst it was difficult to understand a si...

Pretty evident he isn't part of Daryl's plans - hope he does well and can earn himself a move there permanently in the summer!

Re: Barrow AFC Update 29.02.2020

Does anyone know what the official process is for club's (as the away team) being compensated by a game being abandoned / postponed ??

It surely cant be expected of clubs at this level to continually foot the bill for all the additional travel arrangements... or can it??

Re: Pondfield Road Parking

The Pipe Major (currently) offers 4 hrs free parking. Also the earlier shout from someone about May&Baker was a good one. A bloody ginormous car park over there. Club could direct people to park in there for free. Quick walk down the alley way brings you out on Rainham Rd South by the bookies. ...
