Re: The Spirit and Buzz Has Gone

Fair point. I think other Clubs may have suffered the same in some ways. Yeovil for instance once had 8k for a game in the Ryman League, and then last year would only get 6k for a game in the Championship, so there are other clubs with similar issues. BUT, as I said earlier, our crowds (taking that ...

Re: The Spirit and Buzz Has Gone

As I say, I don't know exactly what it is. The Hemmings thing on Saturday maybe showed part of it (not singling him out by the way). A bad ball got played forward towards him, and although the defender missed controlled it he couldn't react as he had stopped and was not looking. The crowd gave him s...

Re: Lets Play Football Manager

A left back and a centre half (as no cover and Saah not exactly convincing either).

Re: LUTON MATCH THREAD

I can't believe people buying into the John Still propaganda by the way. Yes, he did an amazing job, yes his work played big part in the spirit of the Club being built up over the years (see other thread), but of course he was going to come out last night saying all the right things and blowing kiss...

The Spirit and Buzz Has Gone

Forget the style, forget the tactics, forget even the results (that comes as a result of the problem). In my view the biggest issue is the lack of spirit and enjoyment on and off the pitch. This Club has had it's ups and downs over it's 22 year history (and it's forerunners had even more), but for t...

Re: LUTON MATCH THREAD

Arnu, where do you think Dave the Plumber (as you quite amusingly call him) will get a load of funds from, and even if Dave the Plumber suddenly stumbled across a few hundred grand, what would like him to do with it before January??

Re: Burnett Poll In or Out

Yeah, someone whose name I put forward before as he has done excellent job, plays good football, and has local connections. However, my understanding is that he is happy managing part-time and not looking for full-time management as he has other business interests.

Next ;)

Re: Burnett Poll In or Out

That's the thing though, I think it is a big risk if you go for someone unproven, and those would be the likely candidates as you say. There would be an initital excitement and uplift no doubt (same as whenever a new manager comes in anywhere for the most part), but I could see trouble ahead. I gues...

Re: Burnett Poll In or Out

When someone who will do a better job on the salaray and terms Wayne is on becomes available. I don't the details of that, or details of what other managers would want, but I don't reckon there is as long a queue for the job as people think. Don't get me wrong, the home form and the home game enjoym...

Friday Nights

Has anyone else heard that this might be a more regular thing, us playing Friday nights?? Guy in the office, big Brighton fan actually, said this morning he had read in the paper that we are going to try and do a few more as ther crowd the other day was more than the last few Saturday games against ...

Sunhill - Name Change

Can I change my name (the Mike Dashwood bit) without changing the whole set up of my account or having to re-register??

I am off the Bill these days, need to update.

Re: Billy Bingham

Billy Bingham is really not as great as people make out is he. He has been unlucky-ish with injuries, but come on, he is an average League Two player, and if he joins Luton he will be going to another average League Two side. The way people get carried away on here just because when he actually play...

Re: Orient tonight

Lewis was, and still is from what I can see, a bit of a tw4t. Stilly was a bit of a dictator at times though, there are other instances which show this (such as losing the plot with a load of old folk sat in the Carling Stand everytime they uttered that they were unhappy with the performance). Anywa...
