Re: You do realise...
The blame lies solely with the FA an the PL. The PL is not the best league in the world. Its a league played in England for some of the highest paid players. Since its inception, England have gone downhill after a pretty decent performance at the WC in Italy in 1990. 4 English clubs have won the Cha...

Re: Referees
Sorry, I'm on one now. How the F*** did David Elleray get an MBE. Jumped up little tw*t of a public school teacher who couldn't officiate a game of tiddlywinks!!!!

Re: Hereford expelled
That's what you get for stuffing us 9-1 !!
Feel sorry for the fans, but what about the players who didn't get paid and their families? Hopefully, they'll bounce back at some point.

Re: Referees
It's a disgrace that the biggest sporting event on the planet is spoiled by inept officials. It might be the World Cup, but FIFA should be using the top officials from countries used to handling major games, ie Champions League, Internationals etc. Forget about having someone from each continent or ...

O/T - Best World Cup Goals
Just a week till the fixtures come out, so in the meantime was thinking about my favourite ever goals from The World Cup. 1. Carlos Alberto : Brazil v Italy 1970 "Sheer delightful football" 2. Maradona : Argentina v England 1986 - The feet of God! 3. Dennis Bergkamp : Holland v Argentina 1...

Re: Worst ever dagger
Think we're now looking at two 24 man squads of dross. I think that the point I was making was how a manager can firstly sign these guys, then play them every week. Maybe in order to reach an ultimate top ten say, we should assess players that have made a minimum number of appearances, say 25, rathe...

Re: Worst ever dagger
You took the words out of my mouth. Robert Gill !!! For those who don't remember him, just imagine Steve Evans in a Daggers football kit which I know will make you feel sick. F'king useless, bleached blond hair as I recall and you just hated him. I honestly don't get much pleasure from caning our ow...

Re: Ins and outs.
Congratulations Arnu on a very good original post, have to agree with most of it. Personally I think both keepers will stay and slug it out. I feel that we need 4-5 more outfield players, but of these I'd like to see a couple come who have substantial football league experience. I'd also like to see...

Re: Its all over!
Let's be honest, League 2 has been a poor division this season. Very few teams have impressed me and with the budget that Luton will have next year, JS must be licking his lips. Finishing ninth.......Great season I feel is an exaggeration. At one point today I think we were 16th which shows how tigh...

Re: 6 wins is all we need...
Sorry, but where did this come from? Forget all this punching above our weight stuff, but to state if im not wrong, we need 6 more wins to stay up to me is not the right attitude. We've seen how close this division is and we should be looking up, rather than down. I don't think that sends the right ...

Re: Brian Woodall
I think that there's a quote somewhere about the success of a sportsman being more about attitude than aptitude. After being thrown in at the deep end in his first season here, it's arguable that his goals contributed to us staying in the league. He therefore should have been full of confidence, but...

Time to take stock
Seems like a good time to assess where we're at. The past few performances, even the victories against Burton and Wycombe have been quite poor. There's no tempo, we can't hold onto the ball and we look very weak at set pieces. Fundamentally I'm happy with the back four, Doey was superb yesterday, bu...
