Re: NL: Southend United (H) 12 August 2023
Is that a joke? We have been protesting for months outside the chairman's house, in the high street and at the ground. More protests are planned. Hardly jumping on the bandwagon. A good few are still boycotting home games and just doing away so it's hardly surprising that we have sold out our alloc...

As I Saw It Through The Rain. Firstly i dont subsricbe to the view that we were anyway fortunate to get a point. Personally I thought we were well worthy of that point, the late hour it came may be considered fortunate but in my opinion we had done more then enough in the proceeding 106 mins to earn...

Re: Southend United
Cant field a team ? Dont want to worry anybody but a couple of injuries and a sending off at the wrong time on the first few games and they wont be the only ones struggling to field a team. Also one other curious thing about this whole affair , the freehold to Roots Hall which he wants 4.5 milliin f...

Re: 📝 Signing | Tom Eastman
Pity he was not 7ft 5 as he may have a chance of getting on the end of some of those woefull crosses we have seen over the last few seasons from set pieces.
All joking aside if Sidney is given a chance we will certainly have some presence at such situations next season

ULEZ Charges
Got a letter this morning from TFL The only time I have ever driven in a London Borough is for football. The letter informs me that my current car does not meet the standards and will face a daily charge. Imagine they got my details of the Dartford Toll. Can avoid driving for afternoon games but can...

With McGoldrick signing for Notts County would not be surprised to see Junior Morias back on loan as I dont see him getting much of a start anytime soon.

Re: Season Tickets
Did not bother as last season had to miss 6 home games . Will still do me 40 games but did not see the sense in paying out until the fixtures are out. Last year was in the same situation but second half of season was more favourable to my diary for home games . Probably do the same this year and buy...

Re: Justham Off to Southend?
If I was a Southend fan I would not hang my hat on this housing development saving them. With the interest rates spiralling already have mates being laid off sites because very shortly people will stop buying houses and homes now being built will not be sold. Not so long ago building companies were ...

Well Done Notts But Paul Cook Give Your Head a Wobble
Well done Notts County got there in the end.
How on earth however did the Chesterfield Manager think that when he withdrew his top scorer Joe Quigley was a better option then Paul McCullum.

Re: Statement from Peter B Freund
It is good to read his statement outlining his commitment to the Daggers albeit on a lower budget for next season. Clubs with lower budgets than ours have performed better than us over the last couple of seasons, so hopefully things can still can be turned around. A busy time for Ben over the next ...

Season End On A High
Well done to the boys , that's a good result. Another top 8 Club away beaten , to add to the other 5 that we did not lose to away from home. That in itself is top 7 form. Sadly only 9 clean sheets all season tells you where it was lost and is an area Ben really has to be ruthless with during the sum...

Re: Great News!
You never know with a new film studio being built only yards from the ground we might one day entice an actor or two with more money then ability to splash a bit around our Club. There is a reason our Club ,which with the best will in the world is a backwater in the football pyramid , was so appeali...

Re: Great News!
Don't know what happened to the wage cap that was being touted about 18 months ago. Do get your point tho DTD . We probably invested money big money ok not as much as Wrexham but still a large amount. Wrexham Gates increased 400% we averaged 150 at most. Think we are now seeing that our American fri...
