Re: Gutless.
I may be out of it on this one, but I'll give my two cents anyway. Did we play like crud today? Probably (I couldn't listen to the game and so don't know for sure) but look at this season as a whole. Most of us at the start of the season were thinking we were going to be in Northhamptons position an...

Re: Luton Town
Applaud... At least IMO. No matter how you look on him leaving, he did so much for the club. Even though I've only been a supporter since the near end of the 08-09 season, I have heard of how far he has advanced the club. So applause, IMO

Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
Excellent point Sussex. Once they're in the ground, they will probably spend the money they saved. And even through the first 3 pages of this thread, I counted 6-8 people that would get season tickets that (I believe) stopped coming all together. So with those 6-8, it's a win for the club

How is this not a red card or auto goal?
http://blog.foxsoccer.com/post/82713486957/sub-runs-onto-pitch-to-block-goal-kind-of-gets-away?cmpid=tsmfb%3Afscom%3AFOXSoccer So in this match in Iran, this defender pulled a wilko of sorts and have the ball away with the goalie severely out of position. All the striker had to do was place it on ne...

Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
It's probably a test run. If they get the desired uptick in attendance through this offer, maybe the ticket prices for the other stands will be halved as well

Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
The question is, if after Easter Monday matches, we are in the playoffs, how many will jump at the early bird special.

Do you think if I bought one or two, and sent em to some mates, the club would let me do that?

I know it's not real life, but I still think we'd draw about the same following from those two clubs as Pompey

Re: Pompey
1500 is 25% of the ground capacity would not get that % if they were playing Liverpool or Man United. Above 1500 and i reckon you would need more Security.Perhaps if Pompey had offered to cover some of this the Clubs could have done a deal , that said you would not want a cheque of them crooks. Jus...

Do you know the protocols if a team/university were to play an international squad? International clearances, payments to the federation, etc

Re: International vs. Club/university teams
Yeah, something like that. Or like the Harvard vs. Haiti Match a couple years ago. But not teams in the top 30. More like the bottom 100 in the FIFA rankings. Like if we wanted to (and could afford it), what would be the procedure if the daggers wanted to bring in and play, the likes of Samoa, or Ka...
