Re: Next game lineup

I would probably play us in a 4-1-4-1 formation. Ling------Doe-----Lokko-----Howells ----------------- Robson -------Bouchard----- Adams/Robinson Whitely----------------------------------Sparkes ------------------ Ferrier Too many goals recently have been conceded by defensive mistakes so putting Ro...

Re: Do we bench Corey Whitely

Another angle to look at this from, I think, is does Sparkes deserve a start possibly as well. Only seen him twice but an assist at Chester and a 1 on 1 with the keeper Tuesday both having come off the bench. If he can manage that in 15 min's then he must surely start compared to a guy who is sadly ...

Bondz

Orient have signed him on loan. Not making our team at the moment and looking at recent subs benches it seem Still would rather put on a central midfielder to allow Robson to move back to CB then put him on the pitch so probably a good call. Keeps him match fit should we need him from January.

Re: Dover (H)

Brilliant result and one of the best games I've seen in a while. While the whole team played well I need to applaud our defence, Dover were clearly very threatening as some of the Cousins fingertip saves shows but for the majority of the game we managed to keep them at bay. Ling had an outstanding g...

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC

The moment the Daggers learnt that Guisely actually couldn’t play football and keeping the ball low would ruin any tactics they had I thought we took control. Possibly weather and their tiredness helped us out but I’ve seen many a Daggers side that would have collapsed at going 2 down. Good result

Re: Anyone confident??? (H) Macclesfield

Nice win. Played well but would have liked to have seen us challenge their keeper more. Good to see Ferrier finally get another goal, recently he’s done everything but score. Hopefully the result to change our recent bad fortunes.

Re: Orient Away Replay

If our forwards had any confidence then that tie would have been ours. We got in good attacking positions in the second half too just no finish. Cheek looked decent I thought. Ferrier is like a non league baz savage, can do everything up front but score.

Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient

West Ham are in Burnley that weekend. I don't know if we are allowed to do it in the FA Cup but we could do an offer for season ticket holders to pull in a few more punters

Re: Who did well really ?

Jonathan Bond is another loan goalie who had a few games with us and has stayed in league football, only knocked out the Watford team when they signed Huerlo Gomez i think. Medy Elito did alright in Holland and has managed to play quite a few games for Cambridge now, I liked Medy but blew so hot and...

Re: Hawkins

Looking at the Pompey forums a lot of fans are already annoyed with him. They feel he isn't good enough for the club or any club looking at some of the comments, although they also say he waits for a good cross to come to him rather than actually doing anything which doesn't match how he was under S...

Re: HAWKINS .....GONE !

Not the worse bit of business. He has been on a bad run of form recently. A lot of his goals last year I felt came from JMD or Fey shots that the keeper parried into his path (not to fully put him down that was half the basis of Van Nistelrooy and Chiquaritos careers). But our new signings seem to b...

Re: Gravesend (H)

I thought Ferrier seemed to have a bit of a limp just after he scored. Might have been subbed to protect him.

First game I've been able to make this season. Attack seems to have a lot of potential but we are worrying at the back
