Re: Gateshead (H) Thread
What a incredible day, we will be talking about it for ages! It seemed every time we went on the attack our boys would score, how many times we said between ourselves we take leads and fold back, mostly lose and not getting that extra goal so it seems Bens motivated them to at last see that out. Stu...

Re: Sutton (H)
Amazing night in horrific conditions it should easily have been a 5 nil or higher, other than slight problem down our left side second half and correctly sorted it was an outstanding unity by the whole team to get this 2nd win at last with special mention to N'Guessan, Kalambayi and of course Dion a...

Re: Sutton (H)
Agree 100% Len, it just don't seem an England to get excited about anymore and another name Nations League to squander money off fans having a job to meet household costs

Re: York City (Home)
It just seemed our team didn't feel any interest on getting the job done yesterday , actually realised more now without Hess how much contribution he can make, we just had not one ounce of rhythm and a complete downer you wait all week and a wasted game comes along like that, of course seen it all b...

Re: Southend Away
Am I the only one thinking jettison any substitutions (albeit unless there was an injury?) all second half we would have won that? The way the daggers came out second half and pushed them on the back foot was probably the best showing I'd seen them on the offensive for ages, then we seemed to fold, ...

Re: Halifax (H) Thread
A bit frustrating that we couldn't kill it off with a 2nd but that was a pretty entertaining game, end to end stuff and a good run up performance ready to take on the Shrimpers, just hope Ryan Hill gets fit for that? Certainly our defending is getting quite strong and special mention to Super Tom Ea...

Re: Woking (a) Thread
That was really piss poor, did our outfit test the Woking goalkeeper once during the whole 90 minutes? Disappointing yet again to lose because the Cards were fairly dogshit too, this place and Halifax goes down as zero point banker all the time, when will we ever learn to change it?

Re: Rochdale (a) Thread
It seems an eternity ago last time we ventured on an away so no doubt like many looking forward to this one plus the added incentive of great weather, bring it on, from what I was hearing last Saturday a fair few are going for it. Typical Old traditional Northern ground with some good watering holes...

Re: Football Programmes
I always hit Romford area before home games more so now with Elizabeth Line running so well Saturdays better than the District Line and after hanging around Cafe Bueno and going into Lloyds bank occasionally didn't realise until just as this last season almost closed between them both is a narrow pa...

Re: Romford FC
Yeah I agree spending 7 hours in the underbelly of the National stadium was certainly a strange abode about it but certainly a day that had action. Vase? Firstly well done to Romford they were in total command and Great Wakering Rovers just couldn't break their back line with Doey & Co well soli...

Re: 7 years ago today…
Remember both games so well, first at our place where we all know thats where we messed up big time and then going over to the Cotswolds which seemed at the time one of the remotest places to view a game on that beutifull warm Sunday. I remember we had Maggie Drew doing a big headline in the Non Lea...

Re: Play Offs
Went to the Wembley game yesterday and agree with the post why twin towers? Firstly say that regarding game think Bromley just about edged it and certainly can't take away what credit the Moors deserve in getting to not only two Non League finals in less than a week but have been up on the summit ne...

Re: Play Offs
I reckon if it wasn't for embargos and point deductions really believe Southend United would have taken Chesterfield right up to the wire this term, so take them out the equation could easily be ten to fifteen clubs really giving it a go next term. Sutton under good up and coming Coach Morison could...

Re: Gateshead kicked out of the playoffs
Feel for them deeply, they got kicked out for Financial irregularities back in 2019 and demoted to NLN a great coach ex Newcastle United CB Mike Williamson bought in and really made them into a good side with guiding players like Macauley Langstaff now of Notts County into a real proven goalscorer a...

Re: Aldershot Home Final game of the season
Bit of an amazing day, really hope we never see that ref again. Spent what must be nearly ten minutes on lectures to coaches & players a never ending trail of yellow cards and sure dented the flow of the game but bizzarely amongst all that tension we got a game with a hatful of mostly good goals...
