Re: Salford - FA Trophy

Early season meant it was never in doubt we would be a completely different team up front again without Wilkinson. Really big loss

Re: Boreham

By-By wave from Wilkinson as he left the field? Well his loan does end on Monday so that's probably it for Wilkinson Brilliant if he stays, but if the rumours about his attitude were the reason he couldn't get a game higher up the leagues, the last couple of months should show there is a player who...

Re: Loan Players

With the Manager's interview in the week suggesting we have a squad of around 27-28 the property should be letting a few go and bringing in some quality if we can... Decent reserve Keeper at the club, good for three or four centre backs if all stay and OK in the full back positions. Could do with an...

Just seen Orient have brought in Jordan Maguire Drew on a Permanent contract... Good addition to an already strong squad.
Depends if they keep Bonne but if JMD can provide anything like the service he did at times for us, they have a front line (Koroma, Bonne etc) that will score goals for fun

Re: Least Enjoyable Home Game Since When?

Wright was poor but thought he was a decent centre back as the season started... He's never a centre midfielder so hard to dig him out too much... Never thought the Mullings header was going in... Clear where squad depth needs to improve in January

Just lost one of their better strikers to Dover have they not? Curious move but hopefully a positive for us

Re: FA Trophy

Well the Ebbsfleet fans are certainly not happy at losing him. Lets hope their loss, is very much our gain! Some selected comments from their forum: "Am gutted ‘Concrete is leaving’, best central defender this season so far and last when it comes to it" "Shame to see him go! Class act. News of a re...

Re: Essex Senior Cup

From what I've seen Gordon is a decent player that just needs a bit of experience around to help him learn. Hoyte hasn't shown that he's a better full back than Nunn at any point. Agreed on Hoyte... The McQueen comparison is only really debating who is the second best right back in the squad anyway...

Re: Latest signing

I don't understand the signing tbh. The front two are already showing promise and linking up well. The only thing I can think of is dropping Balanta in to a no.10 roll just behind the new boy and Adeloye. The fact we let Romain go to bring potentially this guy in suggests we won't go with a proper ...

Re: Latest signing

While he may not be a 30 goal a season man, Adeloye is clearly well up there with the effort and commitment... much like Mullings I would hope, if the new guy doesn't hit the ground running then we go back to what we already have and play Tomi and Balanta through the middle. We only have him until J...

Phipps I felt made a huge difference to the balance today. A midfielder playing in midfield.
Well hard fought performance. 3 deserved points.

One thing I've not got with us playing Wright seemingly out of position... we seemed to have a midfielder there waiting

Cracking report... fundamentally need some wins though... be all and end all right now... fascinated to see what this new front line looks like at Christmas

Hoping if the team gets stronger we can go back to a flat back four

Re: Did anyone notice?

Discussion about Mullings is strange... ultimately he doesn't appear to be (in any shape or form) what we need to score goals. Equally on talk about the manager... we allegedy keep playing the same with a new boss yet we're complaining about the team tactics and the quality of players we brought in ...

Re: Free agents

We all remember Nyron Nosworthy do we not?? a 35+ year old with no record for the past four or five years certainly isn't the answer... Cureton was a different kettle of fish as he had goals in his everywhere he went Not to sad to hear Labadie come up in discussion personally... possibly that bit of...
