Re: Havant & Waterlooville

The Post does seem to revel in any bad performance.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville

I think everyone is missing the bigger picture: our defeat last night means that Barnet are only 3 points above the relegation zone. A tactical defeat, genius.

Just 634 home supporters at Barnet as well.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville

Once again on this forum we go from over reaction after a win to overreaction after a defeat.

Shall we wait to see if there is a reason for the changes first? Eg flu going through squad? Injuries?

Re: Bromley Match Thread

Balanta makes a huge difference. We should have been out of sight at half time.

There was still someone in sieve moaning that Taylor was taking off Balanta - he’s coming back from injury, looked knackered and we have a game Tuesday.

Re: Bromley Match Thread

For me, we had our best run as a 4-4-2, but Munns was being wasted wide and most wanted him moved inside. Balanta makes a huge difference, he has both goals and link up play.

Even then though, Justham was getting man of the match week after week.

Re: Maidenhead

Having watched the highlights, I’m not thrilled with Manny’s attempted clearance that led to their goal.

Re: Maidenhead

Perhaps I am expecting to much and am being a little bit harsh , and should find it acceptable to see a Daggers player pull out of tackles like he did last night. Anybody also care to ask the Manager how the last Player to score a penalty for us ,who has never been asked since when on the pitch, wa...

A bottle bar behind the sieve would be simple to stick in.

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

Not saying that I thought it was a pen, but that it was one that that ref might have given, because he seemed very keen to give fouls against our players for the lightest of touches.

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

He didn’t win a thing in the air. He missed a sitter. The point I was making is that others get castigated for the same thing. As for what people other people saw, given that there were people shouting to him what a good cross he put in for the goal, It’s clear that people saw him do things he didn’...

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

I’ve never seen any need for Wright to be in a match day squad!

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

Point is Adeloye has missed lots of chances this season and isn’t great in the air - others are criticised for that. That was the original point I was making. He hasn’t been a goal threat all season. He’s featured in 18 league games, scoring twice, once in the 2-1 defeat against Halifax on 18 August...

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

Adeloye replaces Reynolds. He missed an absolute sitter, 6 yards out missed the ball and it hit his standing leg. He won nothing in the air. If it had been Mullings, he’d have got a dog’s abuse, instead people were chanting his name. Did miss an absolute sitter yes. But won countless fouls, beat th...
