Re: Barnet (H)

It's not been good so far, but I'm willing to give them a bit more time before sticking the knife in too much. You could argue that we have six new signings in there if you include Deering and Weston, both of whom didn't play a lot last season, and in a pre-season where we didn't play any opposition...

Re: Fans Returning to Victoria Road

With the cases rising again, do you think season will still start? If it does start, I wouldn't like to bet on it finishing. Christ knows what happens with local lockdowns either, especially in the North. Presumably gatherings will be completely banned in the event of a local lockdown, and with no ...

Re: Coronavirus

Statement from Woking. https://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/7038/statement-from-woking-football-club/ Pathetic statement that doesn't say anything helpful. If I was a cynic, and I am, I'd say they're fishing for the three points. I would also be amazed in all of this if, given Freund's Tweet on ...

Re: Solihull Home

Didn't think Solihull were anything special home or away. But then we've been saying this about most teams over the course of the last two/three seasons which effectively makes this wasted season even more frustrating. Good three points nonetheless, and good to get Phipps back on the pitch, even if ...

Re: Ebbsfleet Away

First-half was dreadful as has been said but at least there was a marked improvement in our mentality if nothing else in the second-half. Then again you can't be throwing five forwards on every week - and it doesn't bode particularly well that even with all of those on we still didn't score from ope...

Re: Who would you replace Taylor with?

I'd probably avoid Strevs for the mo. Done a great job with Eastleigh so far but I'd be wary of appointing someone off the back of around 12 months managerial experience given the situation we're in currently. Suppose there's a positive to be taken from the fact that whoever gets the job will have n...

Re: GARRY HILL

You all know how this club works. And I am absolutely convinced that if Hill comes in short-term he'll be rewarded with an extended contract in the summer. Is that what any of us want, or what this club needs?

Re: GARRY HILL

We cannot appoint Garry Hill. Are we a club going forwards or going backwards? Because you know what happens if we appoint him, he'll be given a short-term deal until the summer, he'll keep us up and then the owners will almost certainly be persuaded into extending his contract into next season and ...

Re: Do the yanks really care ?

There's no questioning that the owners care. The money they've put into the playing budget and into making the club look presentable and up-to-date in it's facilities is evidence of that, not least the way in which they interact with supporters when they're over and on social media. But that doesn't...

Re: Injured Players

The lack of communication when it comes to injured players is - and long has been - a joke. I've been told before that the club hold this information back so as to not give the opposition an advantage when they're preparing to play us. If true, it's a load of bollocks. Not only does it treat us supp...

Re: 1 WIN IN EIGHT.

We got what we deserved yesterday for going there and setting up to try and nick a point. If we're a side that allegedly is meant to be pushing top-seven, that's not how you set up against a team who have been shipping goals for fun. Taylor was brought in at the start of last season to work with a s...

Re: Peter must go!

Agree Adrian. The league position could easily be anywhere between about 5th and 20th because the league is so volatile. It's more about what we're seeing when we come to watch. I wanted Wayne gone even when we were mid table in league two because it was tedious. I could see it would eventually fal...
