Re: Brian Woodall

Im probably in a majority that has the view that drunk driving is wrong.

I'm not bothered if Im in a minority that think Woodall should go because of it.Just disappointed.

Re: Brian Woodall

So it was said but you interpreted differently.Nothing I have said has been fuelled by anything irrational. The fact that I have a tragic experience of the aftermath of a drunk drivers actions is neither here nor there.Fact is driving whilst drunk is not ok .The flippant remarks of some on here can b...

Re: Brian Woodall

Probably a bad analogy I accept that. Bearaab likes to antagonise me at the best of times so his comments don't really surprise me.If he or anyone thinks drink driving is an accident to be excused then they are just wrong.A grieving parent would not take the pathetic excuse "I was drunk so its...

Re: Brian Woodall

It's negligence. Not an accident. Nobody gets in a car, drunk or not, with the intention of killing someone. But whether conciously or not, you are aware that your capbilities are impared and have chosen to ignore that. There are many reasons that people ignore it. Some are more understandable and ...

Re: Brian Woodall

It's a bit pointless trying to have a rational discussion with someone who is so emotionally attached to a subject and that keeps twisting what has been said to suit their own points. There was no emotion in pointing out that you were wrong about what others have said in this very thread though.You...

Re: Brian Woodall

Death by dangerous driving whilst drunk is an accident ????? So what about stabbing someone to death with a bowie knife whilst under the influence of cocaine ? Both a bowie knife and a car are dangerous weapons in the hands of somebody not in complete control of their minds. Go on amuse me some more...

Re: Brian Woodall

There has been no claim that drink driving is an accident. Or that it is okay. Or anything similar. Sorry mate but you clearly haven't read the thread.Go back to Dagger83's post a page or so back. Dagger83 said ..... "It is an accident as I doubt a person drink driving purposefully looks to mo...

Re: Surely not!

Hoyte £750k..(We didn't get that for Gayle until the add-ons kicked in)....I like the bloke and have argued he should be playing for ages but you'd have to take the money as he aint worth that.In fact over than Zav and Murphy that is a good price for any of our players.Danny green only went for abou...

Re: Brian Woodall

Well if we could all at least begin from a position that drink driving is wrong and no accident it would be a start. My view that Woodall has bought the clubs name into dis-repute with this shamefull episode also holds some credence,as does the general fact that footballers are held in higher regard...

Playoffs all day long.A more nailbiting affair altogether though but a nice payout even if you lose.

Re: Brian Woodall

Why does it take commiting the offence of drink driving and getting caught to get someone to realise their mistake? I've driven since 1984 and never done it...guess why...I know and knew it to be wrong.I don't drive the day after drinking either. Its a fact that if you are out pissing it up Friday ni...

Re: Brian Woodall

I agree with most of your post that time D83 but you did it again.....Point 2 still disturbs me a little.Only if your kids were killed by a drunk driver would you then think differently.Until that happens its alright. In other words other peoples kids can get run over by twats and you stand by your c...

Re: We are supporting him...bless!

We can disagree on triviality like football and footballers but I don't think for one second either of us were born without morals or the sense of what behaviour is right and wrong Masked Man.It is refreshing to see you talk some sense occasionally too

Re: We are supporting him...bless!

I think Woodalls kicked his last ball for Dagenham now anyway.I think this is a damage limitation exercise for both player and club. He'll go quietly with the minimal amount of damage.Dagenham wont want the attention,Woodall wont want it and he'll play football at a lower league level somewhere else....
