Re: Tamplin Watch

Wheeler must be desperate for a job to have to swallow his pride and go back there. Not sure if I feel sorry for him or not. The O'Hara situation is even more funny. Ex prem and couldn't get in the team, unfit, went running the minute the money was cut but couldn't wait to go back? All very fishy. ...

Re: Tamplin Watch

The madness continues
Tamplin has resurfaced, apparently in America and has re-hired Harry Wheeler as manager and Jamie O'Hara as player-coach

Re: Still Out??

Ask the players who were here last time he came back That's who I heard it from But they didn't do it. A free kick was never taken like that. Never. The common way that we'd take free kicks in our half was that a defender would place the ball so the goalkeeper could run forward to take it fairly qu...

Re: Still Out??

The last time JS was here the players couldn't believe how they were instructed to play Whenever we got a free kick in our half the defenders were told to run straight to the ball as soon as it stopped moving and boot it forward without looking for a team mate Still's idea was that it would surprise...

Re: Tamplin Watch

Although he did last longer than Hopkin. Indeed. And got them a promotion, improved the ground etc. IF they now get a new owner in who can get them self funding while making them stick ine National League South then in all honestly can anyone say the Tamplin era was bad for Billericay? Which isn't ...

Re: Manager Brad Quinton has left Braintree Town by mutual agreement

Out of interest, who would those wanting Taylor out bring in and how would that person make the current squad better players? Football teams generally finish in a position that’s dictated by their playing budget. Our squad was extremely cheap - and look it. It was a squad assembled when we had no b...

Re: Glen Tamplin is Having A Party

Does anyone seriously think he will sell BTFC? Alan, Look up Davey Hunt He's a long time associate of GT Hunt is already associated with the owner of another, much bigger local club The waste that was dumped on Tamplin's property originated from the Long Fella's waste disposal facility There may we...

Re: Glen Tamplin is Having A Party

Tamplin would never have had full control of the football club. We would have had his money (which he has invested lots of) and when he threw a tantrum and stormed off, said thanks a lot. Personally, I find it all a bit sad. He obviously needs help, hope he gets it. Still find it odd that people ar...

He will change his mind and say the fans and players begged him to stay. Despite what has happened at Dagenham glad this guy did not take over.
I suspect there are developments to come before his time at Billericay ends
It's unlikely to be pretty
