Think this directly addresses why you should not get your hopes up.

Re: Maidenhead home

Honestly who even knows any more. 4 goals scored without a striker on the pitch, we defy logic at times. Great result, one more big win and we should be safe for the season. Then it’s over to the owners to sort their mess out ahead of next season and stop us from finding ourselves in the same situat...

Re: Maidenhead home

A must win game and unfortunately I’m struggling to see how we can with a squad this thin. It is incredulous how this club is struggling to do the bare minimum to keep the club up. Whoever is allowing that needs to be drop-kicked out the club. York, Woking, Oxford and Wealdstone all bringing players...

Re: Gateshead..

Who makes the decisions on our recruitment? If it’s Strevens, why does he sign a striker who is not better than the centre half we are playing up top? Feels like this club has been on the cusp of getting some great results and runs this season, but just the sheer obvious stuff is holding us back. Ve...

Re: Southend Away KO Time

Can’t turn our noses up at a point on the road. Was a cracking first half performance. Just imagine what we would be doing if Inih was fit and we had a proper back up striker. Should have done better when they scored but then the second half became a game of us just not trying to lose because of the...

Re: Southend Away KO Time

Cardwell has seemingly is set to miss out through injury. Fingers crossed there are no changes there. Also looks like Maher is set to serve a touchline ban due to the number of bookings he has received.

Re: Southend Away KO Time

A strange feeling going into the match. Earlier this season all logic would have said that we trounce them. Yet they ended up playing us off the park. This time around, on paper we should have no real reason to get something tomorrow. However our form + Phippsy’s natural ability has left me thinking...

Re: Freddie Sears where are you?

Maybe we’re hiding him away for a week and planning to re-announce him as a new striker and saviour to our season. As we all know we aren’t going to get one in, even with our noble owners making the trip over last Saturday.

Re: Altrincham home

Completely shocked from that performance. For me it was 100x more of a memorable game than the Oxford win. Felt like everything was stacked up against us yesterday and we turned up and worked our arses off to get the result. Was a proper performance with everyone turning up and pulling their weight ...

Re: Bye Trinity

I made a switch from years of holding a season ticket to flexi ticket this season as I was quite fed up with the state of things before a ball was kicked this year. Which I do not regret at all. I might get a flexi next year, but if we’re in the league below I’d expect it to be at a lower amount whi...

Re: Bye Trinity

We are at a disadvantage straight away with West Ham only up the road. That said there is plenty that can be done to attract some fans in. I dare say Thompson has the club's best interests at heart, but football has moved on, things have changed both on and off the pitch unfortunately we haven't an...

I said it before and I’ll say it again. We will not win a match without Inih unless we sign a new striker. Toothless.

Re: Halifax Home Diversity Match Thread

We always seem to pull out a crap performance on this day, it’s no wonder they don’t come back more often. That plus our pricing and match day experience being very poor… Either way, Halifax were a dreadful looking team in the reverse fixture and hopefully that’s the team that shows up on Saturday. ...

Re: Bromley (A) Thread

Never a fully good result with Dagenham is it? A fantastic point, continuing the theme of battling until the very end. Sounds like we deserved more from it too! But despite that it’s gutting to see Vincent, one of the stars of our turn in form, out with a bad injury. We will really miss him whilst h...

Re: Bromley (A) Thread

Agreed, similar thoughts as when we played Chesterfield. Any form of points are a bonus and we should definitely go looking for them. But also if we can walk away from tonight with no new injuries or suspensions then that’s a big plus.
