Re: Current Squad & Contracts

I think we are quite strong on our day, as we have shown. We’re about 11 points off the top 7. But in all honestly it’s hard to say, if we play to our potential every week then we’re up there with them. If we don’t then we’re where we are now. I think we could have one better left sided winger, and ...

Re: New Loan Signing

On the face of things this is a decent signing. Probably the only area we needed some strengthening in. However I hate to piss on the parade, but now we have a solid base of around 23 we should be looking to cut heads going forward.

Re: Who`s eating their words now ?

Still wouldn't piss on tommo if he was in fire. Me I didn't want Taylor sacked either. Completely differant situations. Comparing the 2 is idiotic. Not really “differant” (now that’s idiotic) situations. Both are more or less equally accountable for the successes and failures of a season. Just that...

Re: Line-Up at The Stone

Just seen the highlights, and I must say, it looks like Nunn had an absolute stinker. Gifted them some real chances. One of them a replication of his assist for Boreham Wood’s goal. On the whole I think he has been pretty decent this season, but it really looks like he is well off form since the new...

Re: Who`s eating their words now ?

This is rich coming from a member of the supporters club who have wanted Thompson gone for ages. If you had your way none of this would be happening. Will you eat your words?

Re: usa investors backing up there words

As long as we haven’t done anything silly with the wages then I can’t fault anything with what they have done this month. Some great business and hopefully we can get Manny at the end of the season if Rotherham don’t want him.

Re: WILKO SIGNS

Bloody good news. Even better than Gillingham aren’t getting a penny for him. Massive sign of intent from our owners and Taylor. More of this!

As an aside. I don’t know where those Romain stats are from but he scored on his debut. Also think his red card might have been overturned.

Re: NOTES FROM THE FANS FORUM 11 JANUARY 2019

Is it really still that big a part of football culture? If you’re happy spending 4-5 quid on a pint why not just go in the tbs for a few quid more and drink in that bar. I’m not saying don’t have a bar but I’d be surprised if that many people really need one. Well maybe it’s not a big part of it fo...

Re: NOTES FROM THE FANS FORUM 11 JANUARY 2019

An interesting read- thanks. Very good to see that marketing is being taken very seriously. It’s what Americans do best and hopefully it will be a great success. Would love to see another couple of hundred home fans regularly over here! Disappointing for me to see that there aren’t any plans to open...

Good news. Give him a decent touch on his one on ones and we have a very good player for this level.

Re: Will Wright

Personally I thought Wright was having a decent game against Boreham Wood. Especially with his defensive work off the ball. His passing really isn’t the best, but he does see the right passes, he just can’t pull them off. I suppose time and practice should see him come good theoretically. Would prob...

Re: Boreham

It was entertaining at least! Really really baffled at how we came back from 3-0 down. We didn’t seem to have any fight until we only found ourselves 1 goal behind. The first bad game Manny has had for us. Why did he try to dribble it up the pitch right before their third? Hoyte does have to start a...
