Re: No Views From The Sieve

Hopefully they manage to fix this then.

Although it’s good the club acted swiftly since most saw it at the Orient game, it’s still embarrassing that this even happened at the first place. And I do worry about the decision making at this club, even with all the Americans involved.

Re: Southend United

I wonder if they miss July’s payday which I assume is tomorrow, they will be docked 10 points as per condition B.

However I can definitely see the league weaselling out of this as it’s not during the national league season…

No Views From The Sieve

After the new structure that has been set up for the TV gantry. Is this temporary or have the club finally lost all common sense?

Re: Friendly: West Ham (H)

2-2 against West Ham is pretty decent even if it is a preseason. Hopefully more results like this to come in August.

It feels like we are starting to forge a much closer relationship with West Ham, would there ever been an opportunity for us to start taking loan players from them again?

Re: Southend United

Not shocked in the slightest that there has still been nothing but silence from the league on this. Because they care so much about integrity and fans of the league I predict that they will postpone all Southend games that happen before the next court review of the WUP and pray that the courts make ...

Re: Southend United

A local MP is getting involved to see what support the Government could offer, http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/23664469.southend-mp-holds-crunch-meeting-fight-save-blues-continues/ I’m shocked reading that to learn how the govt gave £1m in support to Bury. This shouldn’t happen anyway as it sets a...

Bloody nice kits! How refreshing to have something with some individuality. Very tempted to buy for once

Re: Friendly: Hornchurch (A)

Could he be trialling elsewhere, which could be why he’s not in our matches? I’d definitely rather him over the centre back trialist from yesterday, though.

Re: Friendly: Hornchurch (A)

Personally I thought that Lawless was a mixed bag. Clearly has an eye for a good pass, and worked hard off the ball. But he had a fair few passes out into touch, which weren’t the fault of the receiver. And overall anyone playing today should be a bit worried about next season. The number 5 was pant...

Re: Friendly: Romford (A)

Whose this Terry guy? Alfie Terry, signed into our youth setup in May. 2 youth players + 2 development players in Blair and Ibie are so far featuring quite a bit in our pre-season. I hope we are still looking to sign something stronger than that. I think Ibie and Blair are worth giving a chance. Bu...

Re: Fixtures

All the National League wants is to not be forced to make a decision. They don’t have the brains to realise what’s right, and they definitely don’t have the balls to do what’s right. They’ll give Southend a small points deduction tomorrow and the club will be wound up in 6 weeks time. With the leagu...

Re: Where do we go from here?

Sorry but who has ever said no I’m not going to the football this weekend because it’s not a nice place to have a shit? I haven’t seen a single ground anywhere that has a spa in the bogs. All public toilets are nasty, grow up and get used to it. I remember Orient a few years ago did free season tick...

Re: Season Tickets

Tough one for me and I still don’t know. Basically for £275 I have to go to more than 16 home games for it to be worth it (excluding the two discount games we will do). I don’t 100% know if I will make that many anymore, especially if the season follows the same journey as last. If we’d have had a b...

Re: 📝 Signing | Ryan Hill

I am basing that on 1 goal in 29 appearances last year and 3 goals the season before when Eastleigh almost went down. That isn’t a record worth paying money for. Not saying he’s crap, or not worth signing. I’m saying that we should be spending our money on “sure things” rather than players we need t...
