Re: Dave Andrews

Terribly sad to see this news at the weekend. Dave was a constant presence at the Club from the time of the merger, and will be greatly missed. He led the Club, along with a group of others, to places that most fans would never have dreamed of, a modern day football miracle in many ways, alongside w...

Re: Thanks for the drink.

Is great that everyone is suddenly happy, but does show the fickle nature of football fans!!! Up until Thursday it was all doom and gloom and the owners were spending money on the wrong things and not setting out their plans. Now (thankfully) it is all sunshine and flowers!!! As I say though, is gre...

Re: The little things that you notice...

Can't believe people are taking the Arnu bait here!! He will claim he is being serious but this is Arnu doing his best to keep the forum moving, he doesn't believe most of this nonsense!! Seats in the sieve and/or an all seater stadium. At Dagenham!! Ridiculous!!! Lupins, in answer to your question ...

Re: Takeover complete

I am waiting for a catch!!! All appears to be to good to be true!!! Well done to everyone who was involved in getting this done, and well done to everyone who donated or helped out to get through the last 7 months. I am wary to an extent as you never know where these things will end up..........but,...

Re: Glyn Hopkin is selling his shares for £1

People really need to move on. People say they care for the club and yet all most people seem to want to do is spread negativity and continue to argue about who is right and wrong and who knows most about the situation!!! We are where we are, and now it looks (and I say it tentatively at this stage)...

Re: My Annual Shameless Plug

Just giving this a "bump" (sorry Admin).

Be great to see people there on Sunday. Hopefully the Daggers fans will have some good news in the next few days and can celebrate with a few beers on Sunday!!!

Re: My Annual Shameless Plug

While the football might be painful at the moment (although I am sure it will improve) the cricket season still has some legs in it. So why not get along to Upminster Park on 2nd September for the annual Upminster v Essex CCC Benefit Match, in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation. Details below (on o...

My Annual Shameless Plug

Morning All, I know the football season is near, and the World Cup is very much still taking place, but the cricket season is also still going!!! Once again this season, Upminster CC will be taking on an Essex CCC XI in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation. This Year the game will take place at Upmin...

Re: And the Daggers new manager is...

Considering the situation this is an astounding appointment!!! Anyone not pleased needs their head testing. Peter Taylor has a mixed record in club management. Good spells at Leicester and Brighton and Hull, mixed spells at other clubs (such as Southend). But the bloke was one of the most successful...

Re: John Still?

Always thought Kinnear would manage us at some time with his connections in the area and his non league pedigree.

The only issue at the moment with him, and potentially someone like Devonshire, is whether a full time manager is needed at this stage??

Re: John Still?

Would be surprised if there wasn't a very long list of people wanting it. Nobody has not been paid, the club is still highly though of in football circles for our level, and I would argue it is still the biggest non league club in Essex/East London. I would think there will be lots of progressive fo...
