Re: Out of the bottom four

Martin Allen is a prize prick, kicking the ball away and shouting at his players to stay down at1-0. Some of the diving from their players, Shaw and Denton in particular, was embarrassing. The linesman in the sieve side was absolutely dreadful. All 3 officials were poor again. We should have had a ...

Re: Out of the bottom four

We mostly did well at the back and in midfield. Some of the decision making going forward is pretty poor. Still don't get the fuss about Reynolds from pre -season - I think I could defend against him. They were another very average team and created very little. Have just found some comments from Mat...

Re: Team suggestions for Barrow

From what I've seen of him, Hoyte hasn't done anything that suggests he better than anyone else in our squad. I've been pretty disappointed. If we're going with 3 centre backs then I wouldn't have him anywhere the right wing back position. He doesn't get forward enough and isn't quick enough defensi...

Re: Glyn Hopkin is selling his shares for £1

Arnu, Mike Dashwood & especially Sussex are right Especially Sussex about the football Talk to any player who was playing in the last couple of years and they will tell you the despair they felt at the tactics they were forced to follow And yet so many of them go on to play for him again. It's almo...

Re: National League Give All Your Clubs A Chance

If you cant afford the schedule it dont become an option does it . Why i ask that Mr Thompson is he sits on the Leagues Management Committee. Everything is about choice. If it's really important to get to every game then you find a way to make it affordable either by increasing your income or sacri...

Re: National League Give All Your Clubs A Chance

Games are deliberately packed in at this time of year as there's a low risk of postponement due to weather. The gaps later in the season are there deliberately to allow spaces for rearranged games for either weather postponements or cup games. The season ends when it does as there are still part tim...

Re: Where will the first win come from?

I can not believe Mr Daggerman when he says Elliot Romain lost concentration and should not have been voted m.o.m. he run his socks off for the hole of the game never gave up and towards the end of the game I said to my brother, Elliot should be given m.o.m. sure I am not confident of his scoring a...

Re: Where will the first win come from?

Very little effort from guys who are on loan and don’t really give a toss if we stay up or go down, Romain wasn’t concentrating and gave no effort to get the ball and pools go and score the second goal, THEN they gave him man of the match!!! Bloody joke. No midfield when it counted, no idea up fron...

Re: We need a captain to lead the team.

I've never seen Robinson go missing.
He generally works incredibly hard for the team.

Captains are largely a ceremonial thing now. They do the coin toss and that's it.
Any player can lead on the pitch and help motivate others. They don't have to be wearing an armband.

Re: Another striker brought in

In the two games I've seen Hoyte didn't stand out above any of the others.
Some of his play on Saturday was on the poor side. You wouldn't think he had more experience than the others - he doesn't seem to do much to help them.

Re: What did I miss ?

They had a bit of experience and we're going to be hard to break down butbstill needed us to give them sloppy goals. Two new players made a big difference. Their player getting himself sent off was really stupid - taking out Romain when he was never going to get the ball. A draw was about right. Sti...

Re: Maidstone

Really disappointing to here some people getting on players backs already. Gordon got into some great positions and didn't deserve the stick he got when his delivery was poor. He's a kid with very little experience. His ball in for the goal was a cracker. Pretty much everyone looked ok, but we need ...

Re: New signing

The spelling mistakes and the lack of punctuation in that article is poor for a professional club. So would you like to highlight those mistakes! That paragraph I’ve linked had these errors: - The word ‘roll’ spelt incorrectly. - No full stop at the end of the last sentence. - No comma after the wo...

Re: Fixtures out

Although I wouldn't say I'm complaining too heavy about our fixture programme for the coming season, but what happened here on this pull out of the bag? probably wont get an answer from the powers to be but real strange 3 days before Christmas (Sat Dec 22nd) with perhaps heavy winter and the travel...
