Re: Essex Senior Cup

From what I've seen Gordon is a decent player that just needs a bit of experience around to help him learn.

Hoyte hasn't shown that he's a better full back than Nunn at any point.

Re: What other new merchandise would you like to see.

We could do with a range of dummies, rattles and teddy bears.

The club would make a fortune with them being replaced constantly as some on here throw their toys out of the pram so much.

Nice to see experience being brought in, but can’t see either of these two scaring Elliot Romain off to Maidstone, especially as neither are strikers...
So how many loans have we got now.

Re: FA Cup Draw

Mike, you really are a 24 carat pleb. Why do you constantly try to dig out other peoples valid comments? Have a read back through and forget your beef with Mike and you'll realise that hes just pointing out the irony of someone who has often dug out others about not going to games using the same so...

Yes good to see decent prices for the replay and hopefully with some reinforcements in the team as well
Pretty sure that anyone that wasn't signed for today won't be able to play in replay.

Re: Free agents

If Joss Labadie is the solution, I'm not sure it's worth solving the problem.
He didn't help much with our last relegation.

Re: Non League Day

As was suggested to me Perrhaps Orient Marketing Manager told the Orient Board in her experiance restricting sales,to advance did not do much for the gates,. If you want to capitalise offer the discount onnthe day. Now where did she learn that experiance I wonder ?) Now I don't want to get in the w...

Re: Non League Day

Well their Marketing Manager did even better then i realised. If only we had somebody of her obvious,talents,...... oh I am hearing that we did . According to their website their head of marketing is called Dave Toyn. Don't remember anyone of that name at our club. Have a look at the list of admin ...

Re: What is the point ?

Remember this when we're in the conference south playing in front of 600. +1 We are currently looking down the barrel of relegation to the Conference South. We need a dramatic change within 2 weeks to have any chance of staying up. We saw it with Burnett - Christmas is too late; action needs to be ...

Wow, there's been a serious sense of humour failure here hasn't there.

Got to love a bit of the old "I know who you are" childlishly pathetic threats.

Re: Manager Brad Quinton has left Braintree Town by mutual agreement

I don't see that sacking Taylor would make any difference, unless there is a lot of money to be spent. He's managed to get a group of players together but I'm not sure about the approach. Going back to when Hill left and Still came in, Still built a squad on not a lot and managed a good mix of exper...

Re: Message to Sussex

What they investing Staunton ? We were repeatedly told that there was no debt, remember? What has been bought in so far surely was covered by the fire sale and what was raised to keep us going If those three players cost anymore then that then you are right we do have a very bad Manager. Somehow I ...

Re: Daggers Ownership - More obfuscation?

Lol... DB and ST help themselves to 4.5% of the shares already promised to the members... and that’s “pointless stirring”. 3 years ago this club was 100% owned by members.... ok it was a selling club but it was getting by.... cue all sorts of plans / investments ....all spunked up the wall by the p...

Re: Daggers Ownership - More obfuscation?

Got to love a bit of pointless stirring. The member share was set at a deliberate % and was given to them for nothing. The split between the other original shareholders is essentially meaningless. They all paid for their shares and got what they paid for. That would have been slightly skewed as a pe...
