Re: Blunt Daggers
One of the major problems with our central midfield is that they sit so deep and therefore offer us next to nothing when we go forward, thereby limiting our options attacking wise. This is compounded by the fact that neither are actually that good as defensive midfielders anyway, thereby hindering u...

Re: Prediction v Notts County
Hamalainen definitely started on the right wing in front of Passley, I think after a few minutes nobody really knew who was doing what though to be honest!

Which obviously explains why we played him on the f*cking wing then! Clueless!shoreyda2nd wrote:Wayne said he put Hamalainen in because we haven't played much football in midfield lately so wanted another central minded midfielder.

Re: Sacked in the morning...
The problem with the thread title is that there is more chance of me seeing the Queen pole dancing in Spearmint Rhino than there is of our board sacking our clueless manager in the morning.

Re: Southern Scotland Saturday
A few of us had a little discussion yesterday on the way home from the game - is Andre Boucard the least inspiring/motivating captain that we've had? I know that we've been blessed with some great leaders - Ogogo, Arber, Uddin, Matthews etc, but Boucard seems to show no leadership or rallying qualit...

Re: Partridge flies the nest
Can only assume that Partridge has done something far more serious than try to bite somebodies finger off, as we all know that that is perfectly acceptable in the modern day Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club. Perhaps he had the audacity to question or disagree with something?

Re: Ninety fifth minute!!!
Agreed. Whilst there were many gripes to be had with the standard of officiating yesterday, as soon as McClure attempted that second tackle it was obvious that he'd be in trouble - it was a mindless thing to do when you've already been booked, are under the cosh and the opposition have the ball nowh...

Re: Prediction v Wycombe
Have we sold McClure back to Wycombe then?DaggerJoel11 wrote:Teams must relish playing us at the moment, I'm opting for a 3-0 defeat with McClure notching against his old club.
I do also predict a 3-0 reverse though.

Re: Ayo Obileye
Could this possibly see us returning to the 5-3-2 formation that we previously played briefly (with some success), with 3 out of Ayo, Nyron, Partridge and Dikamona playing at centre back, and with Passley and Widdowson/Connors playing as wing backs? Would give us more strength at the back, and thank...

Re: Charlton
Thought we were pretty poor In both halves, completely outplayed by both Charlton sides (their first and second XI). How that report can state that "But it was the Daggers who had the best opportunity of the match in 14th minute" when we've just lost 2-0 I don't know?!! Or perhaps they mea...
