Re: Why...??

Guess it's the same as always. Exeter won't bring many from the West Country Irrespective Friday Night or Saturday. A lot of their fans are London / Home Counties based anyway. Exeter only need one day coach hire not two and save on overnight costs. We believe a few extra hundred will turn up as its...

Re: Cheltenham Away

In trying not to hide behind my hands in the last five mins, did I hear that their GK was man of the match.

Last year we would have lost that match, do take the point and move on

Re: Is this a fair statement ?

Until a rich sugar daddy pops up and drops a tonne of dough, we continue to have to abide by the financial rules set upon League 2 clubs. We get excited if we exceed 2000 home fans, how many home fans will Pompey have tomorrow night ?? I don't want to go back to Conference so will continue to back W...

Speak to the club, they were advertising in the summer for new commercial staff, not sure if someone has started, but it's a project they should attack

Re: wayne

Everyone has that time when a personal matter takes priority.

When I hadn't seen him, for a moment I wondered if he was at Palace, as they are looking for a boss. Spent five mins thinking who would take his place ??

Morecambe Away

I know most people are not happy it's now a Sunday kick off. If it had been Sat, I'd have no chance as it's Valentines Day. Prior to Fleetwood last year, we had a Chavy 2 days in. Blackpool. So asked wife if she wanted to spend Valentines Night there and she said yes. Will pop along to Blackpool v F...

Re: A JOKE THAT COULD LEAD TO SOMETHING BIGGER

Maidstone United have the latest 'astro' style pitch, and have some problems getting the okay if they were to be promoted to the Conference. I believe this now has the okay. The FA have also confirmed that these pitches can now be used in the FA Cup. So yes, perhaps they will be accepted in the Foot...

Re: ZAV IS BACK

Every player wants to play at a higher level. Wayne discussed this in detail last night. He wants to sign Scott and Abu up now, but as they enter their last year, he knows they will sit tight till the end of the season and see what happens. You can't blame them, we would all do the same in our jobs....

Re: ZAV IS BACK

Wayne pretty much told us he was coming at the Forum last night, and despite the injury the player wants to sign, and the Club wants to sign him. Porter has till Xmas to earn a new deal, by which time Zav is fit. If Porter performs great, we can sign him again or let him move on. If Zav comes back a...

Re: Daggers Number 1 ....

Seen six of the pre-season games, and whilst Mark has done well, Liam stands out for me. I think he will command his box better than CL & JS, and has made several top saves. If Mark his needed, he's more than capable. Jordan never really threatened Lewy, and then when he was given a run of games...

Re: Open Day

The First Team that played yesterday, with a few exceptions, did a warm down. A couple of First Team squad joined with the Youth Team to do a crossing/finishing drill. The Injured players Matt, Josh, Rhys and Billy were already doing rehab work before the 11am start. After the photos, it was just ni...

Re: Suprs XI

If Greg Dyke had his way this would be a League 2/3 fixture in a few years. Every Spurs player was comfortable with the ball, that's why they are at a Premier League Club in the Development Squad, earning more money than any of ours, no disrespect. Presume Partridge was inj, whilst Batt did okay I c...

Agree, with youth team in Malta, First Team squad will be used again. Guess WB will select a proposed 1st Team v Spurs Saturday.
