Ron Paoletti
Really sad to hear the news about Ron passing away last weekend. Although I am an infrequent visitor these days, I recall my chats with Ron and his wife when I purchased my programme in days gone by. They used to sit outside the clubhouse and make the most of whatever the weather threw at them. RIP ...

Re: Dagenham & Redbridge F.C. - For Sale ???
The "local businessman" has proposed investing a minimum of £1.25 million over the next five years for ownership of 80% of the club. The worrying point is that the Board have given it a unanimous backing! Although I have been banging on for ages for the Chair to go out and get some investo...

Re: New striker confirmed!!
I have seen this guy play a few times and feel he could be a great signing for us.
And if Benno is out of contract in the summer perhaps he could join as a player/coach to help the young forward as well as being groomed to take over from John Still in 16 months or so.

Re: in the sun???
All three should go, but as ever, the cost will dictate.
I am sure that John Still has been paid up by Luton, so perhaps he could do the decent thing and work at a price we can afford.

Re: Whitehawk views on Sunday
I will be interested in how many Whitehawk bring up for the game. They are a poorly supported Conference South team. (20th out of 22 teams) Their average home attendance this season is 261 which of course includes away supporters! FA Cup 1st Round Whitehawk v Lincoln ATT: 1342 How many of these wer...

Re: Daggers strategy
Not sure about the £750k, unless you mean that our income from a season in the National Conference would be £750k lower than what income we currently receive as a League 2 team. The only additional money for League 2 teams in 2016/2017 is the additional Sky income of about £270k that is due to comme...

Re: Views of the fans
I have no time for the manager, but would you resign a guaranteed £80,000 or so a year job, with no other source of income if you had to support your family?
Get real. It was Thommo and the other clowns that gave him the job!

Re: We Would not Would We
My garden leave idea is growing on me. But seriously, just imagine if we had another manager by next weekend? The buzz would be back, me and many others would return, and we might just survive!
Thommo , if you are reading FFS act!!!!!!!!!

The Real World
The club cannot afford to sack Wayne and Warren, and no one can blame them for not resigning, so something else is needed. In my line of business, underperforming staff are moved within the business or put on indefinite garden leave, with the hope that they leave of their own accord before their con...

Re: What we need
Darren is NOT what we need. He is 37 years of age! We need hungry young players who can run all day. We should have enough experience in the squad already.
Darren has been a very good non Premiership footballer, but he should retire gracefully.

Re: The Board
The number of home fans against Notts County must be one of the lowest ever since we joined the league. The decline will continue until someone is appointed who will unite us all again and get a bit of fire in the players bellies. I used to love the occasional away game as well as every home game, b...

Did he ever head a ball as a Dagger?
What a laugh. At least Crawley can finish below us now.

Re: Jon Nurse
I remember Jon turning up at the ground on foot as a first teamer. Great Dagger, no flash car! This is why we will be never be the old Daggers again.
