Re: Joe Quigley

The interview and statements say the fee was the wages we were contracted to pay him in the summer - I doubt was 40k for 2 months, as that would be 5k a week. We paid a fee for Grant. Who knows what it was, or what the wages for him and Quigley are are, or if he decided to use the budget on someone...

Re: Joe Quigley

I have no issue with that Mark. It is the bollocks that came with it that I object to. Because with the choice of replacements it sounds to me it was an economic reality. The two that have come in I would think would cost only a bit more then what we have let go . If that is the reality of the situa...

Re: Joe Quigley

The way I understand it when Wilkinson agreed to sign for us in January he insisted on a release clause if a league club wanted him, the release fee basically covered his wages while with us, this in effect enabled his agent to hawk him around and gave us little choice when oricunt approached him. ...

Re: Joe Quigley

The money generated by Wilkinson? The release clause was to repay us his summer wages. So a year on and we are still using money from the sale of players to pay debts. The statement was that we did not want to sell him and wanted him to stay. So I find it hard to swallow that if we were prepared to...

Re: Joe Quigley

This one really is a punt ,Peter Taylor obviously thinks can come off.Two year deal says that to me, then.again he could be as cheap as chips Dont like judging potential.goalscorers on past records as they are dependent on the service even tho I respect lee,s opinion. looks a big lad who could be us...

Re: Ben Goodliffe

Uncut diamond on.the pitch absoloute diamond off it. You have a quality addition, broke his nose at least three times last season for the cause and every away game I went to last season he was first over to the fans to thank them for coming at the end. This is one envious Dagger would have kept him i...

Re: Bad News

Looks like a few Gillingham fans have stirred it a bit tho Mark, rightfully so as his attitude had caused offence when he was there.

We will all keep a close watch but would not be surprised if it all went sour

Re: Bad News

Perhaps it would have been better if the whole details of this deal was explained in January , when the deal was struck. Think if this had happened Mr Thompson and all those involved would have been saved the fall out that has occured. Never have bought the business of confidentiality to avoid advis...

Re: Bad News

Interesting Orient have moved without a Manager being sorted.following the.tragic death of JE. Bad news but not the end of world , in a years time we could be looking at him.joining his 12th Club. 40k added to wages we were, paying him.I reckons gets you a hell of a striker at this level ,just need t...

Re: Who would you like to see at Dagenham next season?

Craig Mackail-Smith currently playing for Notts County on loan from Wycombe. Touched on that in Curo post. Still got it according to some Crawley fans who reckon he was best player on.pitch last monday. Workrate is still as good as ever . Probably to expensive wages wise but him Balanta and Wilko w...

Re: Who would you like to see at Dagenham next season?

Anybody who can take a sodding Penalty. If we really are serious about a Promotion bid we can not allow points that have been lost over the past two years for failing to put the ball away from the spot. We could have had 7 extra points this year which would, have made us finish a lot higher and perh...

Re: Daggers Thank You

All rather sad really. We started the Season with the rallying call we are all in it together, a call that was also made by the new investors/owners when relegation looked far from uncertain. The call then if we go down we go down together. We end the season in what most supporters who live in the r...

Re: Retained List

Rather depends on whos availiable from elsewhere tho surely. No arguements with the opinions made but if something better in the Managers view is about then nobody is safe .

If we are going to push for promotion then I think we need at least 6 new players and may be more.

Re: Still Problems at Ebbsfleet

I would take any of them who can take a bloody penalty. If we had one of them we would, already be a step closer to where we are aiming to be.
