Re: Daryl McMahon

We will be seeing him next season at this rate, the fact a player turned down a contract to sign for Hornchurch this season says where our finances are this year and the job Ben is doing should not be see as a poor one with very limited funds for a full time side at this level. Saunders was offered...

Re: Elliot Justham

Agree with all the replies. Think it shows his character that he has chosen to stay and help the club fight in the toughest of times, he has shown loyalty and resilience. If i am not mistaken, his contract was 3 years, which would take him to a testimonial. Hopefully if he see's it out, this should ...

Elliot Justham

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like Justham is wasting his time at this club. Visibly the only one who cares about the side, the only one who will offer a honest chat with fans after the games. 300 appearances for the club, and probably 250 of them in a struggling side with no direction. Th...

Re: Is this the worst Dagenham and Redbridge team ever?

No, it is not the worst side. I feel like we have everything bar an out and out 9 who will score us goals. McCallum, Morias or Walker... One of those 3 in the side and we turn those close games into W's. It is not for a lack of effort, but i feel like we left out recruitment too late and ended up wi...

Re: 2023: How did we get here

Given the current lack of positivity at the club, both on and off the pitch it’s maybe worth looking at what has happened in 2023 so far leading up to this point. A rough timeline of the big happenings are below: - On EFL deadline day Josh Walker is sold to Burton for what was a well deserved move ...

Re: NL: Chesterfield (A) 9 September 2023

A really tough one to take. They were always going to dictate the play throughout but, until the critical sending off, we had them exactly where we wanted them and maybe even could have sprung a second on the counter attack. Not sure about the red card, Tavares was covering over on the far side but...

Re: NL: Southend United (H) 12 August 2023

Is that a joke? We have been protesting for months outside the chairman's house, in the high street and at the ground. More protests are planned. Hardly jumping on the bandwagon. A good few are still boycotting home games and just doing away so it's hardly surprising that we have sold out our alloc...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023

I think Strevs will recall Phipps for tomorrow, but personally I wouldn’t. Don’t think either decision would cause a major impact to our performance though, both seem solid options. Then for Kendall, yes apparently they can recall him for some cup fixtures. But unless Lincoln had an injury crisis, ...

Re: NL: Chesterfield (A) 9 September 2023

Thought we went about the game the right way and executed the plan very well in the first half and Chesterfield were clearly not completely at the races. They meant business from the start of the second half though and got the early red card which paired with the goal aswel meant we were there for ...

This gives us 4 matches of breathing room also.
Well if Southend carry on the way they are, and so do we - that would be 2 games...

Re: Manny Gone

Would like to see a back 4 of Hare, Phipps, Eastman, Ling going forward. This allows Hill and Weston to be wingers without the burden of defensive duties, however i dont think we will see this. This would mean we are still a decent CB short when playing a 3 , and we need better than Parker the trial...

Re: Friendly: Romford (A)

Whose this Terry guy? Alfie Terry, signed into our youth setup in May. 2 youth players + 2 development players in Blair and Ibie are so far featuring quite a bit in our pre-season. I hope we are still looking to sign something stronger than that. I think Ibie and Blair are worth giving a chance. Bu...

Re: Friendly: Romford (A)

I have just listened to the interview given with Lewis Young after the Romford match last night , can somebody please arrange for Lewis to attend a media class, and soon, because I lost count of how many times he told me to listen during the interview, it got so bad that I have forgotten what the h...
